Columbia Bar

Discontinued

This barbell packs a premium punch at a budget price. Introducing the Columbia Bar, the first installment in our new “Northwest” barbell series. Named after the powerful Columbia River, a waterway that runs through the home of Kabuki's manufacturing facility, the Pacific Northwest, the Columbia Bar offers the lifter the smooth performance and superior barbell quality Kabuki is known for punctuated by the satisfying in-hand feel of a RAW finish(Repairable Anti-Corrosion Weatherguard). The combination of this narrower diameter with knurling similar to the legendary 250K Power Bar makes the Columbia Bar a premium pick for any movement performed with a straight barbell. Designed to be a durable, premium, high-performance barbell - the Columbia Bar is the perfect pick for home gyms, weight rooms, and commercial training facilities alike.

I bought this on clearance right before Kabuki went kablooey and man, what a fantastic barbell for $237 shipped! The version I have is bare steel. I love the knurling on this, not quite as aggressive as some other bars I own, but really grabs your hands tight. I prefer this bar when doing RDLs, for whatever reason, the lack of flex in the bar and the tightness of the sleeves to the shaft just makes it perfect for this. With Kabuki's legendary variety in QC, I'd be careful to try the bar if you can find one used before you buy, but it's really a great barbell to own, at least the one I ended up with.

Not a fan of this bar. It tried to emulate the new gen power bar but did everything worse while still keeping the inflated price tag. Was very poorly constructed as well.

My old gym had this bar and I liked it a lot. Knurling was similar to Rogue's IMO and less aggressive than a TPB

Got this barbell on sale from Kabuki for a great price, qualify is high, not a fan of how passive the kurling is but I tend to love a very aggressive kurling, also it's a bit narrower and harder to fit in a rack similar to an IPF power bar
