The BikeErg is the latest innovation from the makers of the Concept2 Indoor Rower and SkiErg. Utilizing the same advanced engineering principles and PM5 performance monitor as those time-tested machines, the BikeErg is also lighter in weight than most stationary bikes and closer in feel to actual outdoor riding. The design is built around precision flywheel air resistance, creating a workout customized to any athlete who uses it. As you pedal harder, the intensity and challenge of the workout increases accordingly. At the same time, the inclusion of a clutch lets you freewheel like a standard bicycle, while a wide damper range re-creates the effect of changing gears. The Concept2 BikeErg is portable, easy to assemble, and designed with an adjustable saddle and handlebars. Users can even decide to attach their own bicycle seat, handlebars or pedals (most styles are compatible) to create the ultimate custom indoor bike.

We love our C2 machines! They're super effective and easy to move around, don't require a subscription, easy and cheap to repair, and customer service from C2 is great. You can't go wrong. The warranty is transferable also so don't be afraid to get a used one.

I fully inherited this bike after the 3 other guys I split the cost with moved away. Unfortunately the crank arms kept slipping off because it was the original teeth bell crank. I contacted Concept 2 and they sent my a free crank arm upgrade kit, free of charge (known problem, great customer service). The bike is my favorite piece of cardio equipment, it's as intense or easy steady state cardio as you want it to be.

Built to last for decades with minimal maintenance, I can't think of a single criticism. It's comfortable, simple to use, and as effective as you want it to be. From steady state to intervals, this is my go-to for cardio.

This is my go-to cardio equipment. Compared to Assault Fitness and Rogue, I opted for the Bike Erg because I don't care much for handlebar levers. Moreover, I like the fact that you can adjust the resistance based on the traning stimulus that you are trying to achieve-- lowering the resistance for LISS cardio, and ramping it up for HIIT. Some other quality-of-life benefits to the Bike Erg are that it's simple, durable/ low maintenance, doesn't need an external power supply to operate the screen, and a subscription-free app (disclaimer: I haven't used the app much, so I can't speak to how good it is, but it seems to offer many of the same features that are pay-walled by other vendors).

The bikeerg is the one piece i recommend when asked abotu home gym cardio equipment. Its the most versatile piece and can be used for long easy rised or sprint work with equal effectiveness. If i could only have one piece of cardio equipment in my home gym a bikeerg wins every time

The BikeErg is one of the best conditioning machines you can add to a home gym. The resistance is smooth and scales naturally with effort, making it great for both steady cardio and hard intervals. The build quality is excellent, and like most Concept2 equipment it feels built to last. It’s become my go-to piece for conditioning days.

Excellent piece and is in my opinion the best bike on the market. I use it primarily for low/moderate intensity sessions, but it’s great for high intensity sprints as well. Had an echo bike before this and sold it because I hated trying to do steady state cardio sessions on it. Concept 2 makes great equipment and this is built to last. You can’t go wrong.

I like the bike erg for steady state efforts. The intensity is lower than the Rogue Echo Bike or Assault Fitness Air bike. I most often use it as a warm up or if I need to do a 30 minute effort while I am watching television. They hold their value well. Retailing for $1100 and often selling for $800+ in secondary markets.
