First squat stand I ever purchased and boy did I immediately regret it, super flimsy and mine dented after dropping a 25lb plate on it…

Got a different version of these in a pandemic special from a local business. Mine atleast have a spot to put plates to help stabilize it a bit. Knowing what I know now, these things are so unsafe for squatting or benching. Not to mention you look like a jackass benching in them. They’re currently in storage but I will be using them in the summer for pressing a log outside.

these are the cheapest squat stands on amazon, and I only use them when my kids want to lift because their bars don't fit in the rack, as soon as they are strong enough for a texas power bar these things are outta here. But for my 4 and 6 year olds these are great and most of all affordable

In general, these are unstable and can be unsafe. I used them for years. I keep them around for when I’m using shorter bars when training kids, but only with very close supervision.

These are extremely light weight and not stable. Great if your using them for a curl bar stand but I would NOT recommend trying to squat or bench out of these unless your PR is a broom stick.
Owned briefly in 2025 for the garage gym.
