Ivanko Fixed Dumbbells are amazing dumbbells and are true and tried. They can start to come unthreaded over long years of use in a commercial environment when they are dropped a lot.

The branding is gone but after a little digging I’m almost positive these are Ivanko Pro style dumbbells. For heavy dumbbells you just can’t beat the pro style. The center bolt does get a touch loose but honestly on my set it’s barely noticeable. I’m putting value at 5 because I bought these at $0.55/lb on OfferUp. If you’re buying these new you probably aren’t going to care about what I rate the value. One of the best things I’ve bought for the gym one of my favorite exercises is a one arm row and you really need some weight for it to feel good, and after 100lbs a hex dumbbell gets comically big.

These dumbbells were a gym staple in the late 90s and early 2000s however they suffered from a few annoying issues. The hex screws frequently loosened, requiring manual tightening by spinning them on the floor a few times. Great for its period but I wouldn't recommend them today.

These pro style dumbbells can be great. They're a staple of hardcore old school gyms. However over time they tend to fall apart a bunch and they aren't cost friendly.

Always love using these in gyms. Not practical price wise for a home gym but I will consider ordering some very heavy individual pairs around 150+lbs one day for things like rows or bench

Very popular dumbbells, and ivanko does a good job at them. I just don’t like the pro style dumbbell. Nothing more annoying of sitting these down and watching them roll away. New prices of these are comical, can be found used for a much more realistic prices

These are the pinnacle of any gym goer of the late 90s. Knurling is just aggressive enough without being cheese graters. They look sweet. You can replace the handles and tighten. The best part. My 5s weight 8 lbs. my 100s weigh 104. You’re actually getting stronger since they’re heavier than advertised.
