Fringe hits another home run with this one. I picked it up during the recent clearance and paid something stupid like $63. The welds are clean, the powder coat is evenly applied, the end caps are smoking hot. End caps? On a budget curled axle bar? WTF? Yeah buddy!

This is just a fun bar to use. It’s really great to get a little extra grip/forearm work in with curls, skullcrushers, etc. While it doesn’t affect use, it’s worth mentioning the build quality seems fine, but the welds are a messy looking and the bar looks the part of a budget curl bar. Definitely not a gym necessity, but if you have some spare cash and want to add a fun specialty bar to the mix, this one is pretty cool.

If they'd let me give it a sixth star for value, it would've gotten it! I think I caught this on sale maybe 2 years ago and I'm pretty sure my all-in cost was $100, and man is it worth that. It might even be the best EZ bar i've ever used, and I've actually grown to prefer the thicker grip now. The build quality on it is still more than serviceable, but admittedly it does have some larger welds on it along with a very basic powder coat and no knurling, but that's also the intent with it; to be a no-frills, to the point, economic EZ bar, and all of that it is.

This bar is really cool. I had never seen or used a fat grip curl bar before this and I love it. The bends feel good, the coating is nice but not too slick. It takes a beating and keeps going. My five year old requested I put white hockey tape on it for some reason, in case you're wondering lol

This is a funky bar that feels good to use as the grip is way fatter than a typical curl bar. The bar is smooth yet the paint has enough grip to not feel slippery. This is a nice piece to mix into my workouts and the bends feel good.
