Mutant Metals ARC Cable Attachment

The Mutant Metals ARC Cable Attachment is now available as an exclusive Rogue-built variation. Compatible with standard single and dual cable setups, the ARC allows athletes to personalize their training across a wide range of movements and equipment. For landmine use, we've teamed up with Darko Lifting to integrate protective plastic components that prevent metal-on-metal contact on the landmine version of the ARC, protecting your barbell sleeve from wear and damage during training.

I really love this super heavy handle - great for lat pulldowns on a tower or just rows or curls on a cable machine. Aggresive knurl, the weight is great and the green/ black combo is fun

I have the Rogue version of this in the -10 degree variant. I use this with 12” handles that are aluminum. It’s a great attachment. For the price you can definitely get something cheaper but the quality of this is very good. Also can use the handles for other things. As an example I use the handles for my Rhino for handles and put them into my spotter arms for a homemade dip attachment.

I wanted to see if there was anything to the 'larry scott' concept. Whether it's myth, placebo, or reality, the -5 arc DOES feel different. In a good way. I still do neutral grip pull downs on different bars and single arm pull downs with my rotating handles, but this does make you approach your lats differently and I like it. Rogue, in typical coolness, gave me a refund for a small part of this when my anodized handles were scuffed/marked minorly irregularly.

The build quality is outstanding. The handle knurling knurling is aggressive. There are lots options to modify to fit your needs.

You've got to be careful which finish you get on the handles for these. The steel/stainless are HEAVY AF and the aluminum are $$$$$. So choose wisely, grasshopper. The -5 degree attachment is one of my favorites for lat pulldowns. The build quality is typical Rogue and you get what you pay for. But you pay for this thing.

Very well built attachment that can have different length handles attached. It’s hefty so you need to be careful to not let it bang around if attached to a cable stack.

These attachments are well made. The knurl is very good on the handles. I use them for straight arm lat pulldowns and cable Romanian deadlifts regularly. I try to get as much red and black equipment as possible, so these fit right in.

I was fortunate enough to get an early version of this and I really like how this was a step into making the mutant metals ecosystem for the dip handles. Since then there have been great advances in the versions of this that are more convenient and compact for multiple use cases. There are a handful of options you get with this and that is a good thing, but makes it hard for me to pick which I would most enjoy. In my opinion, the basic angle down is a safe bet as your wrists will be in a good angle. The attachment itself is pretty small and light weight. This makes it an easy thing to store in your attachment collection and expand to full size only when you need it.
