NOT an overrated belt squat and is the beat in the market. This has the best strength curve of any belt squat there is and is built like a tank. You may need to load a couple extra plates, but the movement will feel better than any other belt squat. Also great for RDL’s

This is an overrated belt squat
It’s an absolute mega plate eater. If you squat over 500lbs, you may need to throw on nearly 1000lbs worth of plates on it (or more) for working sets
Lever belt squats in general feel inferior to all other belt squat versions, in my opinion
If you’re getting this for a home gym, I’d highly encourage you to pick something else

Hot take, this is a very overrated belt squat, not a fan of the lever belt squats, this particular model requires more then double the weight of something like the rogue rhino to feel like the same load. Ego boost when you use it but not fun putting all the plates away

This is one of those pieces that didn’t mesh with me, but I recognize its value. Well made piece, I just hate how much weight you need to put on it. I had to put over 900lbs of plates on it to get a nice five rep squat workout. That being said, I like that you can adjust it to being a very hip or knee dominant style of squat.

The pit shark is an awesome belt squat, easy to move weight on it with good ROM that doesn't feel halted or tight at the bottom like some. The safety/stoppers are also easily adjusted.

This is my second favorite belt squat. Lever style belt squats give me knee pain due to the sheering force they create in the knees. Adjusting the height of the handles can be a little annoying too, but they usually just stay in the same spot any way. Overall, it’s a great machine though. And some models have dip bars and pull-up bars so you can do weighted dips and pull-ups.

I think this is the best belt squat out there. I like being able to unrack the weight and not have to hold onto anything, unlike the more popular brands where you have to hold a handle to keep the weight unracked. I personally like holding a Kettlebell in a goblet squat while using it for extra difficulty
