These are better than safety straps but since I am lazy when it comes to moving attachments around I use both

These are high quality safeties that offer superior barbell protection and greater durability than standard pin pipe safeties. They also have the benefit of integrating well with accessories, like Rep's leg rollers and utility bench. That said, if you don't see yourself upgrading to those accessories and just want the enhances protection, strap safeties might be worth considering

I don't even use them as safeties, really. I use them as steps to set-up for weighted pull-ups, to get accessories stored at the top of my rack, for 45 degree hyperextensions, Nordics, and QL raises. However, compatibility (I went through three pairs) is lacking with imperial racks. Ended up using a metal brake to straighten out the angles to true 90°. After that, they fit perfectly. Totally worth the effort and since Rogue doesn't make these for the Monster Lite (or in 30" length), no real cheaper option out there.

These are a decent upgrade to the PR1100. I still use the strap safeties more often than not, but these work well for mounting a leg roller.

Work just fine on my Pr-4000 rack. UMHW to protect the arms and bar for drops. I’ve dropped lifts on mine and also used them for a DIY Ukrainian deadlift setup when they would have had my weight, the utility seat weight and 300lbs of implement weight on them just fine. I don’t use the extra pins to hold them in place usually and don’t have issues. I can also use them to load over with the dimensions of my rack crossmembers

Pretty standard fare there, nothing over the top, but no complaints either. If you have a REP rack these can work well. These do not translate over well to imperial style racks however, so be warned if trying to adapt.
