Revolt Pulley System

Best bang for the buck in my gym. I ordered just the top pulley, but was sent the low pulley as well. The weight horns popping off is a big plus for me as I have very limited space. Im able to perform all the essential cable movements with the two pulleys without issue. My only two nitpicks are: 1- The trolley has to be balanced with equal weight on each side, or it will tilt causing uneven wear on the rollers. 2- the trolley traveling up my uprights makes some noise that's distracting, but thats probably a combination of the powder coating and tolerances. At $150 (with $20 off code) its an acceptable trade-off.

I was nervous buying this as there are hardly any reviews on it anywhere. However, as far as a garage gym pulley system goes, I am ecstatic with this purchase. Fits right on my rack, moves so smoothly up and down the rack. Plus, with a 260 lb weight limit, this thing is durable and can handle some serious weight. Plus, I feel as if this is the closest I have personally got to a true 1:1 weight ratio on a pully. I purchased the upper and lower pully system, and I am glad I did, the possibilities are truly endless. It does get in the way on occasion when I am doing stuff in the rack, but it takes 2 seconds to move it so it out of range of hitting anything and it works. I did not buy the food pads for it and you can get away with just using the bench or putting your feet on the rack, works just fine. Cannot recommend this enough, especially if you have limited space.

This was my first pulley system, and it was really good for what it was. First, the pros: 1. It's an inexpensive way of getting a cable system into your gym if you have a spare upright (note, it isn't removable, you're giving up an unright here), 2. Plate loaded, which works great for me, 3. Has both upper and lower pulleys, which can be swapped out quickly. The big downside for me was that I have a shorter ceiling, and after mounting the lower pulley, the upper pulley and the trolley itself I was never able to get the ROM I needed. I also bought the lat pulldown seat to go with that, but as you can see in the photo below, if I were to mount a seat above the lower pulley, the trolley would be pushed up even further and the ROM would be terrible. I'm not going to dock points from a review because of my ceiling, but I will note that the tolerances were never quite spot on, and I could never stop the trolley from rubbing on the uprights, and also my initial order was missing a few pieces (which took two rounds of iteration to correct), so I'll knock a couple of points off build quality. That said, if you have a high ceiling and want to get started with a cable system, this one did me well.
