Rogue Pro Jump Rope

Rogue Pro Jump Rope

As seen in competition during the 2016 CrossFit Games, the Rogue PRO is a new breed of weighted jump rope—featuring a heavy 5.5mm coated cable (twice the thickness of our SR-1 cable) and a pair of 1LB stainless steel handles. The PRO Jump Rope comes with two weight plugs, also made from stainless steel, which are inserted into the end of each handle to create the heavier feel and greater resistance athletes seek to ramp up their speed rope training.

Great for WODs with double unders. Also nice routine warm up piece. Worthwhile to own any JR, but Rogues sells quality ones.

Honestly, for the price, there is not a better piece of cardio equipment. I hate using it and I tend to get out of practice almost instantly that I don't use them but really, if you can knock out 15 minutes of jump rope, you are probably in better shape than like 95% of americans.

The swivel action is pretty nice on these jump ropes. This is my daily driver. I warm up before every session with some jump rope.

One of my favourite ropes to use, but I've went trough a few cables and I'm just using it on a rubber floor, It got to the point where I put gaffer tape on it and its worked perfectly, but I shouldn't have to do this when paring Rogue prices.

I got this after an RX rope. I do like the larger handles more but I feel like the spin isn’t as smooth. Double unders feel great. They are expensive though.

I like to do jump ropes as an easy warm up sometimes and these are great for that. A more traditional speed rope is more technical in use and I find a bit less forgiving if you’re going at a slower pace. That being said… this thing is crazy expensive. Yes the knurling hand heavy handles feel great, but over $130 is a price point I don’t recommend for anyone. I got it used for like $20 so ya at that price or similar it’s awesome, but I’m sure there is a heavy rope out there cheaper, but just isn’t as premium. Which I think it preferable to save some money.
