Excellent J cups, I believe the material is called ABS plastic coats anywhere the bar will contact the rollers are smooth and there’s even a magnetic “locking pin” that goes into the back. I felt it was a little pricey but honestly once you get it in your hands it’s worth the money well built and solid as all heck.

The Bells of Steel Roller J-Cups are a top-tier mid-range option now that we’ve finally got them available in Australia. They’re a solid, affordable bit of kit and come with those cool little mag pins to keep everything secure. Just a heads-up: if you’re the type who obsesses over keeping your rack pristine, these might not be for you as they do scratch the uprights a bit. I still love using them on bench day to get that perfect bar position, but I tend to steer clear on squat day. They don’t rack anywhere near as easily as my sandwich J-cups, and I find myself hitting the outside metal of the cup too often when I'm gassed. For the price, though, they’re a high-value addition to the gym.

These are my first exposure to roller J Hooks. I have to say I’m hooked and no pun intended. Like it’s so nice to push the barbell side to side to line it up for a lift. I workout in a small shed so I push the barbell over to the other side when I’m on one side of the rack which is nice. They have the typical messy welds from BoS but the are functional and work well. These are specific to my BoS light commercial rack that has unique 2.3”x2.3” uprights, so these are basically my only option. I’m sure one day when I upgrade my rack that I will replace these with better ones, but I have a big appreciation for these now. The biggest con is that it doesn’t really have anything to protect your barbell and has a lip on the front, but that hasn’t been an issue since I have a beater barbell and can clear the lip since it’s within my working weight range so not sure why that would be a big issue. Get some roller J hooks - they are awesome.

Have the Manticore version and this is only roller j cups I’ve had. Works great and has the UNHW to protect rack. Short mag pin to lock in j-up is a nice inclusion.

I have never used roller J Cups before and now, that I have tried them, I think they are very useful. I do not have much to compare them to, but they seem well construct and have held up well.

Super sturdy and honestly really good quality, my pair has handled pretty well against heavy squats, bench and over head press. Highly recommended

I use this for overhead press. When squatting I always hit the edge during walk out atleast once per workout sess.

The main problem with these roller cups is that there is a 3/4 inch lip that you need to clear to get the barbell on/off the roller. Not a problem if you have a lift off, but it’s really annoying if you bench by yourself. Still better than using squat stands like a jackass.
