The Rubber Hex Dumbbell features durable rubber-covered heads for increased safety and comfort. The rubber coating increases durability, protects flooring and equipment, enhances appearance, diminishes noise, and is easy to clean. The heads are permanently affixed to a thick solid steel shaft improving the strength of the head / handle joint. The knurled chrome handles are ergonomically contoured to fit comfortably in the palm of the user. Handle diameter ranges from 25 mm at 2.5 lb to 35 mm at 120 lb. Rubber Hex dumbbells are a great addition to any workout space.

These are identical to my other CAP dumbbells and were much more expensive. They are fine and they say 'York' on them but I don't find a difference.

Generic hex dumbells that everyone sells. They get far too large the heavier they get, and the handles generally aren't good and don't have knurling across the whole handle

Some would say one brand is better over another. Folks - they are the same. In photo are York and Rogue. Tell me the key difference? These are functional and a reasonable price for new hex heads. I have not seen coating breakdown quickly in any of the gyms that have, and all are commercial spaces with heavy usage.
