Weight is weight, but these plates certainly push that phrase to its limits. Enamel coating can nearly withstand a stern word or light breeze. I use these on my loadable SSE inch db trainer. Purchased used.

Gave these to my homie now but they served their purpose in the beginning. Upgraded to 2" sets now.

I bought 200lbs of these during the pandemic with two dumbbell handles due to their being nothing else available. I knew what I was getting into and they got the job done, but the lack of compatibility with standard olympic barbells was always going to be a breaking point for me. Unless you have no other options, avoid 1 inch weight plates at all costs.

About what you'd expect from Cap's reputation: inferior build quality and cheap. The pancake-style plates work great for stacking plates tightly without dead space between plates. These are good for loading dumbbells compactly.

Cheap older weight more than anything. Currently use a bunch of these for when I visit family back home. Also have a lot collected for future projects.

Used these a ton at ATP gym as dumbells there. No issues whatsoever and felt as good as commercial pre made dumbells

Not a lot of use for standard plates like these unless you're trying to make some pro style DBs at home. The good news is they're usually cheap, the bad news is you get what you pay for.
