York Barbell Milled Vintage Weight Plates

Such great plates, like lifting with a piece of art. The Millwork is beautiful.

These are the best plates in existence imo. I grew up using York plates and have lots of nostalgia when using these. They are the correct weight and have the best look. I've got one set that I've restored and would love to get more they just don't go on sale in my area. But for the price, typically $1lb on average, you can't beat these.

Phenomenal plates. I hemmed and hawed for a while as to whether to upgrade my CAP plates at all, and if so for Strength Co, Rogue deep dish, used calibrated or something else? What sold me on the milled Yorks was the price (half of those new plates), accuracy, availability (varies of course), the 45 face design, and the gestalt of them given York's history and the manual finish on them. I prefer the asymmetrical face on these to the TSC, and I do like the "2-1/2" versus "2.5 lbs". Fractions just feel right with imperial units. The filleted lip is super comfortable and the milling gives you extra grip while looking killer. They are hand finished (milling patterns are unique to every single plate) and literally a little rough around the edges, and the center holes aren't exactly centered. I'll never sell them.

These are a great daily driver plate to have in your gym. They are all over the place and can easily be found on marketplace. The milling is always cool to see and makes them a little cooler. They are usually pretty accurate. They are a great plate to fill your gym with and use on any and all lifts.

Love these. Accurate, beautiful, and can be found for reasonable prices with a bit of patience. Love my blue Kg set the best.

Love these plates. They are accurate, good aesthetic and can still be found for $1-$1.50/pound. My 45's, 35's, 25's, 10's and 5's are milled. My 2.5's are not milled, although some are said to exist. My only gripe is the 25 pound plates. The lip on them is useless and I really do not like loading and unloading them. All of the other plates are great. Kind of like York Roundheads, these are the gateway drug to vintage plate collecting.

These things are awesome. I love the look of the milling, and they perform great - they're easy to grip and the tolerance on the sleeve is tight. It's fun to have a little piece of lifting history, too.

The Mona Lisa, the Sistine Chapel, many people would consider these to be the perfect piece of art. I, on the other hand would consider vintage milled York plates the perfect piece of art. Accurate, smooth and tight on the bar, built to last generations, sexy, what else is there to say?

Was lucky enough that one of the gyms I used to go to had several 100lb pairs of these. Im no vintage plate expert by any means but the videos I have using them more closely match this style versus the other 100lb york ones
