Look cool, work great, just don’t plan to take them on and off frequently because they are a pain. I love them though!

These are a cool pair of collars to have. They adjust quick and easy. They take up no room to store. They can be fairly affordable for a cool vintage pair of collars.

They work well. They look cool. How ever they are a pain in the ass to actually use. If you have some plates and keep them on the curl bar they are fine to use. If you’re constantly changing the weight I wouldn’t use them.

Modern colors are more efficient, much easier to get on and off, and WAY cheaper... but these are vintage so they are cool enough to have a place in the gym. They are built like tanks and will likely outlive me.

They plain and simple work after 30 years. What’s not to like.

I'm pretty sure when these were new, these were amazing. I got my pair from a garage sale for 75 cents and I'm sure that the guy that was selling them either didn't know what he had or was so sick and tired of trying to get these to work that he was willing to let them go for under a dollar. I actually didn't know the material inside was leather. I thought it was just rubber. Again, these just sit on a shelf looking cool but they get zero use because I can't get any use out of them.
