I tried doing Zercher squats a long time ago, but the movement was uncomfortable and I never put them into my training regimen. I recently purchased this pad, and the movement is much better. It's been a couple of months and it's still being used. Once I get closer to a powerlifting meet, I hope to see some of the benefits it will provide for me.

This is a really nice pad for zerchering. I'm all for making an uncomfortable exercise more comfortable. Training zerchers without this pad can be an absolute nightmare and bruise up your elbow creases for weeks. I never trained zercher squats because of it. I liked doing a full zercher lift from the floor but I'd only do heavy singles because they hurt. Now they are comfortable and I don't mind training some volume with this. Buy it if you do zercher squats...

I ordered an airport sized Toblerone and instead I got this thing. Disappointed. Instead of chocolate, I got less elbow pain during zerchers. I mean I am not mad about it, but come on Ab Mat. We want giant Toblerone bars!

I think we all know Zerchers can suck, this pad from Abmat makes them suck less. Sure you could use a towel or pool noodle, but those don't come in a box shaped like a huge Toblerone chocolate.
