I have a very very similar bar that came with my lat pulldown/low row machine. As noob-ish as it seems with the plastic grips, it doesn't feel as bad actually and I don't mind it

Really nice J-cups, but im skeptical if they would work with a cambered bar because of how low profile the roller itself sits inside of the housing

Such a cool idea. I got the mini barbell recently before I found out about this. Cant wait to get one of these to pair with it

Awesome idea to get barbells off the ground or store bars that aren't gun rack friendly. I wish my rack wasn't a shortened basement friendly rack or else I'd have one of these

Overall just an awesome idea and its very well made. Love that you can use it on a barbell too and not just for cable work

I found that they weren't very tight and unlatched themselves from time to time

Small footprint which is nice but like mentioned before, its so small that heavier weight makes it get a little sketchy

Used in a commercial gym recently. Surprisingly decent for Hoist as I find 95% of their things dumb and gimmicky. Only complaint is the rubber handles which makes using straps a little more difficult vs a plain metal handle
