1" allows for standard and Olympic plates, great if you have a limited budget and don't want your plates on the ground

Great idea but they hardly get used at our gym. Not to mention the little safety piece on the strap is plastic and broke off so I had to take them apart and reassemble them to get the strap out of the mechanism to be able to use it again. Not worth the Monday for most people. Have a few clients with shoulder issues that enjoy them
