My daily driver since 2016, the bar continues to function as it did when first purchased. That is to say, perfectly well. Granted, I've never used a more premium power bar before or since but I see no need. I don't compete. I just wanted something that I could trust with my life. The zinc coating does show signs of wear after a decade of use but only along the smooth surfaces, not the knurling. That said, more advanced coatings have since come to market, hurting the value a little. If I was starting over, I might purchase the all stainless version, largely because it looks cool.

Echoing what many have said, this bench is of great value and build quality. Purchased in 2019, it continues to serve well for benching, tricep work, neck work, and as a comfortable seat in between squat sets. And unless you insist on USA-made products, I see no reason to buy any other flat bench.

While this rack has endured 10 years of free weight compounds without issue, the industry has advanced, hurting this product's overall value. I still prefer 5/8" holes and Westside spacing but seemingly, most gym equipment companies do not. That, plus the scarcity of 4-way holes, restricts the potential for storage/utility upgrades. I've resorted to fabrication and customization to work around such limitations but if I was starting over? I'd invest in the 1in hole ecosystem favored today.
