I really enjoy these plates. I find them very useful for grip work and vertical loading pins so you can fit a lot on there. I also enjoy them on my leg extension/curl because I was running out of room on there with my deep dish plates. I use them on my Porter PhysEd Hell Box for belt squats so plenty of space on the horns. Little looser tolerance on the center hole, but that hasn't bothered me in use. I dig the handles, US made, small company ran by Brian who is a great guy and big supporter of HGC and the competitions. I'm very happy to have my WIO plates. You can get paint markers and fill in the text if you want. I am very happy with how mine turned out and ties them together better as I have mismatch colors.

Grabbed this several years ago when it was under $30. It is wood, so will get little scratches and whatnot during use, but so will all your gym equipment. I think it has plenty of life left. The features I really like about it - can store on a weight horn and it will accommodate axle bars* *The axle bar won't sink all the way into the groove, but it does sit on top of the groove fine. I would love to see more mini jacks be able to store on your rack.

If you're looking for a bench that isn't trying to do too much, this is an outstanding option. While I am not tall, I do enjoy the long back pad. It stores vertically very securely as well. Comfortable, grippy padding. All the color schemes, the option for fixed or adjustable rear post, and from a company as good as Rep - hard to beat this one. One con - I have to frequently tighten the middle hinge bolt where the seat and back pad connect with an allen key, not sure why it loosens up so easily but have heard others mention this minor issue as well.

I really enjoy this bench pad. It gives me the best of both worlds having the option to have a very thin back pad which I use for most chest pressing, or I can remove it and have the normal grippy back pad when I want to do a powerlifting style flat press. It was an investment for this piece and I hope to keep my shoulders happier longer having this. When using a cambered bar, this feels outstanding getting those shoulders to move more naturally. I will say that this isn't for max flat pressing, although you can but it isn't grippy so cannot get leg drive. But the way I train, I don't always hit normal flat pressing anyway so this pad is on my Rep AB5200 2.0 more than it is not. This is available on turnmatte.com, a German company. It's also useful for movements other than chest pressing - rows, rear delts, supine bicep curls, etc. Some cons - it isn't grippy and it costs a lot to get one of these shipped from Germany. Once I get over 300lbs on this, it compresses a bit and back of my shoulders may touch the bench pad at the bottom of a rep but nothing serious.

I grabbed a used unit with the stack and I am very thankful to have this machine. I would say a limiting factor is the cable travel. The stack is made up of all 10lb plates so the stack is very tall at 310lbs, thus not a ton of cable travel. It does operate smoothly and I like the front upright having holes to add any storage hooks you want to get attachments off the floor. If you want to use the top or bottom attachment points, you can add a chain or multiple carabiners so the starting point of the movement is not too high where the stack will top out. This option fits in my basement with 90" ceilings and works well.
