I use these pulleys all the time. I love the unilateral aspect and the fact that I can use the full stack or just half. Only downfall is the cables do twist a lot causing disruption in performance.
This is very limited in design. I have to use a swivel to allow my attachments to not twist while using the connectors. Would prefer an option that doesn’t require a second piece added.
Definitely heavy steel construction. Does the job, but not worth the price tag anymore. Ended up buying a second one from a competitor that was much lower in price and still worked.
Bought one for my wife, and she rarely uses it. She prefers to train on the same type of bar she is competing with. It does provide a smaller diameter option than the men's bar. It doesn't do anything extra special.
