This is a lever rack attached belt squat. I have two weight horns for loading. The movement itself is effective. Just getting in and out is not ideal. Takes a while to set up.
I love all my abmat pieces. This was a specific piece from back in my CrossFit days. I used it for HSPU. Now it is a soft place for my knees and elbows on different movements.
The open trap bar has so many things that you can use it for beyond deadlifts. (Press, bench, squat, zercher,& even yoke walks). Built in Jackie a very nice tough.
This was my very first rack in 2012. I bought some square tubing and went to a buddies place to weld it together. Had to rig up some j cups. It definitely was cheap (<$100). At the time it was my best option and would not trade that experience.
This is a significant upgrade from trying to wiggle up on a bench to do hip thrusts. It attaches to the bar easily and is easily removed. My only complaint is that is does slide on the bar. I was hoping it would not slide around on my back.
