This feels better to me than I would have originally thought. I can get a nice big range of motion with no low back discomfort. Does require a decent amount of plates but isn’t terrible in that regard. Amazing footprint.

Very nice and comfortable movement in my opinion. I use my adductors a lot when squatting so I enjoy this movement and like that it hits my quads a little bit more. Not as quad dominant as a traditional leg press. I wish the foot plate was a little bit longer. This thing eats plates but is not the biggest plate eater I have used.

This is one of those pieces that didn’t mesh with me, but I recognize its value. Well made piece, I just hate how much weight you need to put on it. I had to put over 900lbs of plates on it to get a nice five rep squat workout. That being said, I like that you can adjust it to being a very hip or knee dominant style of squat.

Nice product that will hold up for a long time. The one I used to have we added bands to and it seems to smooth out the resistance profile to me. I always felt like at some point you are working to overcome the machine’s friction not just the load being lifted. Can absolutely do a hands free squat on this and does not require 900+ lbs of plates to get a good lift in.

These bars feel great to use but they are not as durable as I feel they should be. In my experience bars from the 2010’s forward just don’t have the same durability as previous generations. Spun, whip, knurling? Still amazing. As with all things Eleiko, you’re paying for the name.

I love this bar, that being said, it’s not the best bar for your dollar. Bar feels great both in stiffness and knurling. I found this Eleiko bar to bend easier than I think it should given the cost and legendary status. Bare steel so it’s going to rust, which never bothered me but I understand people might not like that.

Standard spud quality. Only downside on these is the handles would be better if they were knurled steel.

It does exactly what you want it do. Mine is almost 20yrs old and is in great shape.
