I’m a welder, but I’m way better at lifting.

Just got this bad boy in and built. I can get commercial feeling ROM on leg extension, but it’s a little tricky. Haven’t tried it with the machine loaded to my working weight yet, and I don’t think I can wear shoes because I have to slip my foot between the ankle roller and a cross piece very tightly. But one adjustment up, I can’t quite get as much sciencey stretch as you’d want, but it’s still very decent, smooth, and solid. Got 3d printed knurled handles from Kinzi at Kpex homegym lab gym lab’s Etsy, which go on the thigh pad and make the leg curls vastly improved. I can wrap my arms around the handles and bend forward which gives the leg curls again that sciencey stretch you want, if you believe that kind of thing

Got this not long ago from Walmart.com for $180 shipped. Felt like a steal. Got the tip from frugal home gym on YouTube. It’s a cheap piece, but for what it is, it works well. Wanted a hip thrust machine to reduce time setting them up with a barbell. I was able to load this with 630 lbs of weight and get 6 reps, but my wife and a female personal training client only need 2 plates per side right now. The foot plate is a bit small, and I use my hip thrust pad under the belt otherwise the belt will hurt, like cut into you. But it hits the glutes well. Very well, especially for $180

I got the Syedee version of this (exactly the same thing) from Walmart online for $469 or something like that. Just got it built, have only messed around with it a bit. It’s pretty compact for a leg press, both weight horns for loading the exercise sit with the frame of the machine, so not counting the weight storage horns, it’s only 26” wide. Like 88” long. To make it feel 10x better, 1st I put like a pad behind my lower back whilst on it. 2nd, I used a hack from Kinzi Kpex homegym lab and put some magnets and grip tape on cheap amazon squat wedges which make this machine not trash, actually really good. Recommend doing that
