I have to give this perfect scores because I came up with the concept and helped design it. I submitted my idea, drawings and pictures and worked with Hayln up to its final version. I own the prototype, which is 99% of the final. I use it exclusively with my Sorinex Bulldog for chest supported rows. It allows me to position myself high enough off of floor to get a maximum stretch and easily rack and un-rack the bar in a stable fashion. I sent them some photos of my non-rackable EZ curl bar on it after testing the prototype and that’s how they decided to market it.

Anything you order from Oak Club has an exceptional build quality. These spotters appealed to me for their size and versatility, with respect to being able to flip them, which positions spotters at a slightly higher or lower position (when secured in same holes) depending on which way you orientate them. I can use them both inside and outside of my rack and they are longer than most spotter arms, which is useful in my situation for doing OHP and getting me a little further from the front of my rack which has the Prime ROT8 Pullup Station mounted to it on a projecting lower rear stabilizer crossmember from REP. I did get them customized with color so mine were over $500 like Brandon’s, but I love mine, where he moved on.

I’ve had this vest for about 6 years and wear it twice a week for running and Murphs and certain Tabatas. It looks just like when I unpackaged it. I have another 5.11 version for real-world use and it too is exceptionally durable. The only reason I’m knocking off a star on value is that there are other versions (non 5.11) that are less expensive, just as durable and get the job done. I purchased my workout one from Rogue and use their contoured weighted plates inside it.

Build quality is superb and value is spot on for what you are getting - a longer than normal mag pin needed for certain applications. The usable length on these V2 (5.5”) is a little shorter than V1 (5.75”). V1 had a 3 D printed head with a knurled edge and the magnets were exposed and they collectively were a little too strong. Both V1 and V2 are pictured. The smooth finger groove makes for comfortable single handed removal. The magnets are not too strong, but they are plenty safe and secure.
