Ever since this machine was announced, I knew I had to own the Quadsend. It was supposedly everything that I wanted in a machine—full ROM, a combo unit with no compromises, and built in Voltra compatibility. I can happily report that it is as advertised.
This think is seriously built like a tank and you’ll know it right away since the crate weighs 1200 pounds. Building it was challenging at times. You definitely need a helper for the foot plate minimum but there are a couple steps that are much easier with a second set of hands.
As for how it performs, it’s everything that was promised. That may sound hyperbolic but you truly get full range of motion for both hack squats and leg press. I have yet to use my Voltra on it but there’s no reason to assume it doesn’t work well.
I got the machine for the early bird kickstarter pricing which was $3499+$200 for the Voltra kit, which may influence my value rating slightly. Currently, it’s $4199 with no add ons. I truly think this machine was worth the purchase. There’s nothing else out there that does all that this machine does. This is a piece that will be the centerpiece of your gym and you’ll never replace. Yes, the price is more now but it’s something you’ll never have to replace. Like they say, “buy once, cry once”
