I had this for 5 years and it was awesome. It’s light weight folds up and holds up. If you are looking for an entry level bench to get your home gym going this is a really good choice in my opinion. That said if you bench over 250ish, you should get something a little more robust.

I had one of these for about 4 years but it clicked, we had to get it serviced once and I generally thought it was an awkward stride. The footpads are a weird felt material that wore down. I sold it and was happy to see it go.

These are awesome. You can read all the reviews and start picking knits but they are the best there is right now. I am very pleased that they are now offering a 65lb set. It makes it easier to pull the trigger and get the adder plates later. I wish they were less expensive but I can’t question the value.

This is legitimately all you need. If you had this and a weight tree, it’s the same as having a half rack. I’m glad I have my rack but if you just want to get started with something that’s high quality but no frills. I lifted on this for 3 months in the shipyard and I saw no loss of gains lol.

I think the hyperbench pro has better build quality but from function standpoint, this thing is awesome. It’s light weight and versatile. It doesn’t fit my training style but if I ever got a second bench for accessories, I could do worse than this one

Hear me out. It’s Rogue so it’s not cheap. But this setup has all the functionality of an Ares for a similar price and has incredible build quality. The only difference is the single stack design. Which makes it a better value since you’re not paying for the extra weight. The RML is a fair bit cheaper than the monster with essentially no appreciable difference. The Indy is cool, the Rhino integrated one is pretty sweet if you’re into belt squats but this is the one for me. It’s the best Made in America value for this type of all in one (if that matters to you). I do think that it’s not the smoothest or snappiest system but it’s still an awesome value in my mind

This is the best no frills adjustable bench in my opinion. If I were shorter or wanted the adapter for the leg developer or foot catch, I’d probably go with the Nighthawk. For how I use it, this is an ideal bench.

I actually have the 1.0 version that did not have the weight storage in the back. The good is that it’s 3x3, 11 gauge steel, with 1” holes throughout most of the upright (imported dimensions). I like the flat foot design personally. I use it as a half rack and it’s great. The big annoyance for me is that the upper and lower areas are half inch which makes those areas less useful. Additionally, the hole spacing is further apart than standard. That means that attachments with two points are likely not to fit. It only comes in red and black but I painted mine white. The powder coat is decent. Would a recommend this rack?… Not unless you find it used for a really good price. It is very common to find the 1.0 on FBMP for pretty cheap. It’s a good rack that I’ve had for 6 years and will never be able to fully justify upgrading from. If you aren’t big on attachments beyond the run of the mill safeties J-Cups etc, this rack is worth a look.
