It's heavy. Really heavy. So grab a tractor tire and swing this thing and make your whole world hurt like hell. It doesn't ever get easier. And if you want to make it worse, just add more weight to the thing. I mean, not sure what could be worse.

I feel vindicated. I’m bonafide now. There are few things in life that really matter. A good steak. A happy home. A certified gym. Lots of barbells.

This costs a lot. It's true. It also has bent on me a little. And I'm not throwing around 600 pounds on the thing, you know? So I have to knock some stars off for that kind of thing. Even so, I really enjoy having a log and working it into my routine on a regular basis. Makes me feel all big and strong and stuff like that.

This is the best belt squat out there. At least for me. I have crappy knees and a back that can get out of sorts for stupid reasons. Every single other belt squat I've used (including the Rhino and Pitshark) cause knee shearing due to the angle of the movement. The Squatmax mimics a low bar squat exactly and there is no stress on the shoulders, back, or knees. This is a piece that will stay in my gym for ages.

This thing isn't balanced. Cue the prissy lunatics who "need" a balanced open trap bar or they can't lift or some shit. C'mon man. This is beefy, with unbelievable welds, gorgeous sleeves, and interchangeable handles that have knurling that will get your little fella going if you let it. Too bad they couldn't run a business. They made some incredible products.

I picked up the stainless version of this and absolutely love it. I use it with either set of my Prime handles or my homemade D handle (Kabuki trap handle pair and leather handles from Belt Fed). Add a small carabiner and some shackles, and you're in business, homie.

Just a great product for the price. The version I have comes with a UHMW lining so your sleeves don't get jacked up going in and out. And that matters a great deal if you are using specialty bars that are powder coated.

This is a fun attachment, and I wouldn't knock stars off for any reason, but I don't find myself grabbing for this one as often as I do either of the medium width versions I currently own.
