Out of the box these are stellar. They remind me of someone else’s “öppen” collars, but theirs has "Golden Arcs" and buns with no seeds, selling the "Big Mick" instead of the Big Mac. Or something like that. You get the picture. I do find that it’s only necessary to close one handle on the collar instead of both for a snug fit. I wonder if over time this design will loosen like Elei… er McDonald’s.

This actually takes some time to get used to and you have to make sure your barbell is balanced or it’ll start to come off the hooks on the other side of you are loading more than a 25 on it. It also wants to slide down off the barbell sleeve. I am getting an extra weight plate holder to be able to use with this because I don’t like that the barbell sleeve moves a little when you pronate your wrists. It really needs a way to secure to the barbell. Good quality, however. Just a bit pricey for what it is and how it works.

This is another well-designed and executed product from Golden Grips. I have not felt a knurling quite like this before and the texture of the attachment really holds to your hands in a sticky, prickly kind of way. Not sure if everyone is going to like the feel of this, but with the movement of the handle, the thickness of the handle, and the stickiness of the grip, it is a really different experience. I'm certainly happy with it and will keep purchasing more items from this small and innovative outfit.

This is a really cool attachment and is a massive challenge for grip strength. It gives you the opportunity to get a little bit of lat work in but with the primary focus on being able to hang on to the thing, so the struggle is real. Having recently gotten fairly deep into grip strength training, I'm finding there are a few shops that specialize in this area, with Golden Grip being one of the few that really double down on this. And the quality is very good. I think the Arm Assassin powder coat is a little better, but they don't offer this product, and I've had a fun time learning how to use it as a finisher on pull days.

This was just what I needed! Love having a nice, clean spot to hang my chaiiiiiiiinnnnnzzzz when not using them. I've got a set of 6 total, which is perfectly sized for this piece, and it's also got some hooks that come out so that I can store a pair of collars on it too. There are other products that come out too far from the rack, or only work for 1" holes, so it's fortunate that this exists. The Rogue one wouldn't work in my crammed space. And it will be easy for me to find a spot for another one of these when I add another set of chains to my gym.

You can get these now for pretty cheap on Amazon, not sure if the quality is as good, but it's just a hook that slips into your rack, so can't be all that difficult to match this. I think this was the only option around for 5/8" racks when I went looking for them. They are similar in experience to a Wall Control attachment - they fit fine but will come out of the hole when you take off the thing it's holding. So, for instance, my kid likes to put a bar up on these when he's using the lat pulldown (so the bar is on the inside of the front uprights of the rack, if that makes sense, so he has room in front of him to access the lat pulldown without the barbell interfering, and without having to take the bar fully out of the rack. So when I put the bar back on the jcups or monos, this wants to come up out of the hole with the barbell. Besides that, works fine, easily can store whatever needs storing close by for today's session. I'd recommend, but honestly, would have probably gone with the cheapos on Amazon if they had them at the time.

So let's get the negative out of the way first. I paid $12/lb for the 5lb sets of these and I got two sets. And that was the cost pre-covid. So that's crazy, right? Well, yeah. But they are calibrated and while that's not exactly necessary, I can understand you need to pay more. I like the look of them and I'll have them forever, so money is gone and I'm not complaining. I use them for spacers, for PRs, and I really like them for when I'm progressively overloading my OHP sets. I'd buy them again.

I really liked these. I did notice that the black got super gnarly over time and I wasn’t a fan of the way they were again. Maybe that’s shallow on my end, but I don’t compete so I don’t need something that 10 grams within tolerance or whatever. The Fringe Savage are almost as thin and they hold up much better over time.
