Another piece in the garage that has yet to see any use but when myself or my lifters need to prep for a keg event then we will be set. This was a great marketplace find with absolutely zero wear and tear. Solid rubber “safeties” and a great threaded cap to make this bad boy easily loadable.

Only reasons I have to take stars off this thing is due to the simple fact that I cannot even lift the thing. Don’t know how much it weighs and won’t know until I can shoulder press it. Much heavier than my all time best so it’ll be a PR whatever it is.

Overall some of the rarest in my collection. All the way from the oldest gym in Germany these Berg Second Gen Wide Hubs will pop in any collection. The rare 12.5 kilo plates make this set even more desirable to collect.

One of my favorite plates to look at. On the lower end of the vintage scale but it’s hard to beat a full (but not busy) plate with clean white lettering against a dark background.

She ain’t no Slater but she works. I’m a smaller dude so the 12’ is a little hard to toss around but again that’s a skill issue on my part. Strongman not being my main focus helps me not get my panties in a wad over the specifics of logs just yet. I know there’s better out there but am I going to pay that price? Probably not until I can press over 2x bodyweight.

My first REAL deep dish 45s. Such a timeless look that I wouldn’t mind collecting multiples of. Would love to get my hands on a pair of marked 45s in the future.

To be completely honest. Mine is not a Wenning original but it’s a recreation that an old teammate of mine (RIP Bama) had custom made down in Tennessee and shipped up north to our powerlifting gym. Squats, marches or even bent over rows a very versatile piece with a great story.

A legendary set. My first crosshubs. The rare greens all the way down to the 2.5s. Just something that lights my face up with joy everytime I walk into the gym. Looks great on the wall or on a bar.
