I got this new for almost half of retail price and for that price its amazing, it did arrive damaged in shipping and they originally sent me a wrong box but they got it sorted out quickly and even sent me a flat iron tricep bar for free so customer service was great, the powder coat isnt great, pretty much any metal will take the powder coat off. Now onto the good, it is a compact unit and can double as a rack. This is literally exactly what I was looking for because my wife started lifting with me and we'd have to change heights on our main rack between sets if we were both to use it. The rack works for her but I wouldn't use it as a rack if you're putting up a lot of weight, I would feel so so about putting more than two/maybe 3 plates on it based on how much it moves when I do pull ups on it. Last thing of note is the rack is very very shallow, a spotter cannot be behind someone benching and there is probably not enough room for incline bench. Overall, if you're in a situation like me I'd recommend it for sure, I probably would not want it as my main rack though. Also the assembly was wild, there were some places where the tolerances were so tight I had to leave washers out to get the bolts into the space, there were also a few places where bolt ends were touching and couldn't be tightened down all the way, however they were tight enough to be fine. The cable mechanism works very well and is infinitely smoother than my old amazon special one.

This bar is okay, I like the design of the camber as opposed to the usual arch where you have to grip it very wide to utilize the camber but that's more or less where my praise ends. It is cheap and the build quality is fine for its price, the powder coat will come off if it makes contact with anything made of metal. the bar itself is also way too wide so it makes it very awkward to use for anything other than flat benching. for overhead press, it's hard to get your head out of the way, when doing bent rows you have to be paying more attention than id like to to not hit the frame on your knees. Mine also has developed rust/oxidizing muck on it in a very short time but I live in a humid area so I can't complain too much on that. Overall would not recommend getting it new

I have the wide pad version and it was a game changer after benching on an adjustable bench for years, it is truly rock solid and brought a level of consistency to my heavy benching that I had never experienced. Instead of varying by 5-10 lb or by a rep or 2 from week to week, I was hitting right on the money week after week due to the wide pad, stability of a fixed bench, and grippy vinyl, if you're in the market for a flat bench, I cannot recommend this one enough. It's so good that I intend on swapping my current adjustable bench for a rep one one of these days
