This is a really solid piece in my opinion for leg curls. The quality of the upholstery is good and the feeling of the movement is smooth. There is the chance when you curl too explosively you can have it go into that weightless zone where it is floating away from you but other than that I have no issues with this piece. I haven’t used it much for leg extensions but it isn’t bad for that either but obviously you don’t have a back support for that variation so that may be a deterrent for some.

The piece is very good for a home gym overall with its dual feature of being a leg press and back squat. It has solid build quality and will not budge once you have it in its place. It is 70lbs empty and plate loaded. My only gripe with it is in its leg press form the range of motion is about an inch or two short from being perfect. If you could just get your legs down a little lower it would be great. The ROM is better in the hack squat set up.

Good budget friendly beginner bench. It is good for a variety of uses outside of the bench press as well and is light weight so it can be moved around the gym easily for accessory work. The only thing I don’t recommend with it is heavy flat bench. It has the potential to jack knife if you’re not careful and I experienced that when I benched 2 plates for the first time so I recommend leaving it for lighter accessory work.

This piece is great for someone looking for a budget friendly cage that is just getting started with their gym. The weight capacity is rated for 700lbs and I’d feel confident saying you could definitely push some heavy squats with this rack into the 5-600lbs area. My only qualm with this rack is the hole spacing. There is no “Bench press zone” which has become more common on higher end racks. If you’re using a well cushioned bench chances are the padding will be too high for the safety bars to actually help you of you fail a rep. Also the back lower cross bar connecting the uprights can make it impossible to use a bulkier adjustable bench like the blackwing inside the rack. But overall it’s a solid piece that can help you get strong.
