I love this wrist roller
The XA aggressiveness option on the knurling is perfect, no chalk needed
I get this piece is a bit niche, but when combined with a voltra it’s better than any wrist roller machine I’ve used
This thing is also amazingly built, with excellent quality
This is a well built machine
The stack is adequate for nearly everyone (although the arm wrestler I sold mine to could stack it fairly easily!)
I mostly used it for the wrist roller function, so I ended up selling it & replacing it with a JD wrist roller
This is a good machine though & the seller now offers the option of getting a knurled handle for the supination/pronation function
Pros:
The footprint is super small
300lb stack (pretty much impossible to max out for leg curls)
Great ROM for leg curls
Excellent resistance curve for both leg extensions and leg curls
Belt fed & overbuilt/well built
Cons:
Okay ROM for leg extensions; some people may need to or want to use a husla pad
It’s not 1 to 1 weight for the leg extensions, so if you’re squatting 550lbs+ you’ll likely need to use a gym pin. Anyone under a 500lb squat will likely find the stack more than adequate for leg extensions
Overall this is an excellent combo machine & one of the best I’ve used. If you see one for a good price, buy it
I’m a huge fan of powerblocks
They are quick to adjust, the square design doesn’t bother me for the exercises I use them for (mostly just arm accessory work and chest supported rows)
They feel good during pressing movements
The exercises that feel awful with them, like overhead tricep extensions, I’ve never really liked doing
My wife also dropped these from head height, while doing OHP, and they survived
