Threw together a dumbbell and plate storage rack with some wood I had around. While it’s not perfect, it gets the job done. It hold 5 to 35 lb hex dumbbells in a pretty compact footprint along with six pairs of plates on a toaster style stand.

Picked one up for a liquor store for the cost of the deposit. It weighs 213 lb. when completely filled with sand. While it’s not the quickest process, it’s easy enough to adjust the weight if you are trying a new movement.

Got chains from a local industrial hardware store. The larger size definitely looks cooler. I don’t use them all that much, but when I do they really add to the vibes. Always be sure to have some daisy chains and soft loop straps around when working with the chains.

Glad I was able to pass the rigorous certification process. The banner really pops in my basement gym.

I DIYed a chain yoke after seeing it in a strongman show. Got some 3” OD pipe and some large eye bolts. The yoke itself weighs 30 lb and then I load it using Spud Inc Swing Set Straps.

I use these inside my squat rack with large eye bolts. They have certainly done their job for me a time or two. Great peace of mind when squatting solo in the home gym. I have even tried to rig them up to make a bit of a leg press with an adjustable bench and a barbell.
