My excuse for buying these was so my wife would have an easier time moving the safeties, but they're really a fantastic upgrade to my Rogue Monster Safety Spotter Arms. The low profile design gives me a lot of room on the rack and Dean's coatings are second to none. I went with the 18 inch version, which would be a little short for some applications, but allows them to face each other inside the rack. I would be tempted to ding them on value, but I don't think anyone else makes a low profile spotter worth talking about any cheaper.

The biggest (only?) issue with this thing is getting the cable fed in. The mechanism is simple and fantastic, it's just a matter of the Rogue Rhino trolley needing to be held one level higher than the rhino goes in order to feed through. There are various ways to get around it, but it usually requires unloading the trolley. I don't think it would at all be an issue except that my rack is too close to the wall.

My Rogue Rhino+Indy 4 post rack has a few tradeoffs. One of the biggest is a lack of space for a pull-up bar. This thing takes care of that deficiency. It also raises the bar a few inches, which is all I need for my 90 inch rack. But the really special thing is the paint job, to which my photography does not do justice

Not much to say. It's a light, high quality bar. Now sold as the 10 kg Training Bar, but I bought it as the Junior Bar. I usually don't use it, but my wife and kids do. Very narrow diameter, fits in small hands, not too aggressive knurl. Kind of a perfect kid bar. Another reviewer said it's not rackable. That's not been my experience

I put this on a 30 inch rack, and lift off the front. which frees up some depth. I can still roll my Manta Ray up to the front and do 30 degree incline presses. But. If you have the room, put the indy and rhino on separate racks. The Indy stacks take some of the versatility away from the Rhino. But if you want options in a small space, it doesn't get much better.

Look. I know it's discontinued and was massively overpriced. I know people complain about the passive knurl. But I love this bar. I genuinely have never had any grip issues, and think it's mostly people's psychological appreciation for aggressive knurl that throws them off. The grip is high quality and gives it versatility with my wife and kids. They always prefer this bar to the Rogue junior bar we have for when 45 lbs is too heavy a starting weight. Why? The passive knurling. Is the Chewy that I view as the spiritual successor to this bar probably a better power bar? Yeah. And it's on my wishlist. But I'll let go of my mammoth when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
