32MM Squat Bar

32MM Squat Bar

The 32MM Squat Bar is another Rogue-exclusive, Ohio-built power bar, featuring a deep, coarse knurl pattern for optimal “stick” and an oversized stainless steel shaft for reduced whip/flex on heavy loads. We sent the prototype through the gauntlet of abuse (aka product testing) at Westside Barbell, and only after they gave it their approval did we move forward into mass production.

Caveat on this review- this is my only experience with a squat bar and I'm not remotely strong enough to really test the full capabilities. But for me, I'm very happy with this bar and having a squat bar in general. The additional thickness and the full knurling makes the bar feel very locked in on my back, and the additional length puts the plates way out wide so I won't hit the rack no matter how sloppy I get with my walkout. I really like having various kinds of barbells even when not strictly necessary, so I was happy to add this one to my collection. Seems like the typical high quality from Rogue too. Price-wise I believe this one is about middle of the pack, so decent value but cheaper options also exist- although not in stainless steel.

I love this squat bar. I have the fully stainless model & the knurl has held up, there’s no rust, and it feels great to squat with I prefer it over all the Texas squat bar models I also got lucky and got mine used for $200, which was nice!

Mixed feelings on this bar It's my favorite squat bar for a few different reasons but multiple times now I have had the chrome peel off the collars. Both times rogue has send me a new bar / collars and I would buy it again in a heart beat because of there customer service alone

Straight 3’s across the board for me. I WANTED to love this bar. And at first I thought we were unlucky. But around 600 lbs it started getting VERY goofy, and as weight went up so did oscillation, bend, etc. I then saw one in use at a competition at a local gym and the pool noodle effect on a 700 lb squat made me realize that we weren’t unlucky. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me as Rogue could easily amp up to a 38mm given their bow bar and have a true comp squat bar that would be good to astronomical weights. That said - I’d recommend a Cerberus 32mm squat bar in place of this one. It’s a better price, performed better, etc.

Only Squat bar I've used but seems ridiculously solid,as most Rogue products. Knurl is perfect and the extra length of the bar keeps you from slapping the rack on the walkout. Full stainless bar is perfect for a garage gym in VA where humidity can get pretty high.

It's a nice bar because the whole thing is knurled, but I haven't really ever seen it used in competitions. It's shorter than the Texas Squat bar (55lb one) so it's not always a smooth transition if you grip the bar wide

Have a boneyard version of this bar. My chrome is flaking but thats to be expected with the boneyard. Full knurled bar is super sharp. Its my favorite to squat on.

Really good squat bar for a competitive price. I personally prefer the Texas Squat Bar over this in my training simply because that is what is used in the Federation I compete in but I have zero issues with this bar and have got plenty of use out of it.

Best squat bar for the money by far in my opinion. I love the full shaft knurling. This is also a great bench bar. If you are wanting a squat or bench bar pick this. The only other option that I think is close is from Texas. The main reason I like this over theirs is the full shaft knurling. Part of what you want on a squat bar is great grip for your back, and full knurling provides that best.

The best bang for your buck squat bar on the market. You get a fully knurled, stainless steel, 32mm squat bar. The knurl is similar to what you'll find on an Ohio Power Bar, so it's grippy without being sharp. The price point here being sub $500 is a steal considering other name brand squat bars are similarly priced, if not more expensive, and not offered in stainless. This also doubles as a great bench bar.
