4100 is an awesome adjustable bench that checks all of the boxes depending on what you need/want.
Pad - Great. Good height but if you are over 6'1" or so, I'd suggest a longer bench. I am 5'11 and this bench is just perfect for my height.
Adjustment points - Perfect, its got 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, and 85. Anything extra is just 'nice' but not needed. These are the main ones. Seat goes up to 20, which is fine though some users may prefer 30.
Ladder system - super easy to adjust
Build quality - No issue, very stable over several years.
Gap - A non issue. I don't ever hit the bump. Gap is not noticeable in use.
Ease to move - This is a medium weight bench. Easy to move. Even my 13yr old can move it without issue.
Storage - vertical storage is a much
The cons of this bench:
I really have no cons other than if you want attachments, this isn't the bench for you. It doesn't do decline. Its also not super long for tall people. Otherwise if this checks your boxes I have no complaints with this bench. Its a buy for life bench.

I picked up the AB-4100 back in January 2023 to replace a cheap Amazon Basics bench I started with, and it’s been a massive upgrade in every way.
The biggest difference right away was stability. The old bench always felt a little shaky, especially during heavier sets, but the AB-4100 is rock solid. Whether I’m benching, doing incline dumbbells, or seated work, it just feels planted and reliable.
The adjustability is super straightforward. The ladder system is quick to use between sets and the angle options cover everything I need. I don’t ever feel like I’m “in between” positions.
The stock pads were good to begin with, firm and supportive, but recently I upgraded to Rep’s CleanGrip pads, and that made it even better. The grip is noticeably improved, especially on incline work where I used to slide a bit. It feels more locked in now and just more premium overall.
It’s also pretty easy to move around thanks to the handle and wheels, which is nice since I don’t have a huge space.
This was one of the best upgrades I made to my home gym. Going from a budget starter bench to this felt like a night-and-day difference, and with the CleanGrip pads, it honestly feels like something you’d use in a commercial gym.

Great adjustable bench, especially for the value/price.
This bench checks all the boxes for me.
Good value that won't break the bank, IPF dimensions/specs, and good padding and upholstery.
At commercial gyms, I often have to put stretch bands on the benches so I don't slide around on it. I have never had to use stretch bands for this bench as the upholstery is tacky enough to wear I do not slide.
When benching, it feels very stable, and the padding is not too hard, but not too soft.
It is lightweight, and east to move and adjust. For most incline positions, it is stable and you do not notice much wobble. As you move up on the inclines in degrees, you do start to notice some wobble but nothing concerning for safety.
Quality is good and holds up well in a garage. A few years ago during a storm, a branch fell on the roof and a lot of rain and debris came in the garage and on the bench. I have not noticed any issues because of this or any issues with it being in a garage environment for all these years.
Would recommend.

Light weight, easy to adjust, and great build quality. The best part is the ability to store it upright.

This bench, in my humble opinion, is the gold standard for home gym benches. Rep turns out banger after banger not only in their rack game but especially in their bench game. This bench is light, stores upright, and the ladder system is nothing short of amazing. Yes, Rep did upgrade this model to accept attachments, but personally, I don't need a bench to do that since I have a rack and rack attachments. The pads have just the right amount of grip and you can upgrade this bench with Rep's 4100 fat pads which I have yet to do. The only thing that this bench lacks is a decline option. Though some might see this a reason to not get this bench, personally, i never did much decline work. The 4100 is an amazing bench but unfortunately, I don't think you get this bench anymore since Rep upgraded this model.

This is the 3rd bench ive owned. I went through 2 cheaper benched in the first few years. I got this one and I haven't looked back. Yes its outdated and does not have the attachment options like there newer ones, but the bench itself is fantastic. Comfortable, sturdy and alot of adjustments. Its light and easy to move for my wife and it can be stored out of the way for those who are tight on space.

I had this bench and absolutely loved it. Perfect mix of form, function, and price. My only niggle with it was the weird front foot pad design. It should have been one piece vs the 2 squares. It was still very stable but those rubber pads could turn at times. I also had an issue where the backpad support would angle itself so that the bar would be against the ladder catch on one side. REP sent out a whole new bench and had me return (at their cost) the old one. If REP hadn’t dropped the Nighthawk with the LD attachment option I never would have sold the AB-4100. If you can grab one, buy one. It’s fantastic.

Really great adjustable bench w/ excellent padding. The ladder system is easy to adjust but does allow for a small amount of play but nothing noticeable while using. Don’t foresee replacing this any time soon.

This is the third bench in our gym, after coming from a Titan adj bench that had a pretty gnarly wobble, this thing is awesome. It’s solid, heavy, but easy to move around. When the time comes to replace our second bench(Titan), this will be purchased again.

Light and easy to move bench. Built like a workhorse. No attachment port for bench attachments, but makes for a fantastic Flat/Incline Bench.
