Alpha Spotter Arms
Alpha arms are manufactured from 3/16" and 1/4" welded steel. The unique low profile double sided design provides a wider range of installed positions while the 3/8" UHMW on both sides provides protection to your barbell from an impact at almost any direction. Let's be honest, it wouldn't be an Oak Club product without incorporating some of our signature premium style.

Have saved my face several times already when pushing to hard. Love how I can easily store them upright. Pretty expensive but the longer length lets them double as flip down safeties in my 30in rack or work off the front which has been helpful as I have changed my rack configuration several times

I got these after I watch the review by Basement Brandon. It met my needs and also the stealth spotter was backordered or delayed. Its perfect for 30inch rack as it covers the entire space and does not need to be attached to the front post like flipdown safety. This allows me to move the Goat up and down easily. Its really a vanity buy. There are many other brands of this type spotter arms that came on line later. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Oak club's quality is unmatched, however the price is extremely high (especially when tariffs/ shipping are involved). There are several other options out there, although I don't think they're as long as the alpha spotters.

Extremely well built piece of equipment. Expensive for sure, but the build quality is top notch. My biggest gripe is adjusting the height. Having to remove two mag pins while simultaneously holding the spotter arm in place for balance can be awkward. I usually end up putting one of the magpins in my pocket or on my bench somewhere while I move the spotter. Doesn't seem like it would be a big deal, but it's a big enough annoyance for me that I end up almost never moving them. Also there's a noticeable amount of play when fitting them on my REP PR-5000 rack. Not a dealbreaker, but not ideal for a product at this price point.

Anything you order from Oak Club has an exceptional build quality. These spotters appealed to me for their size and versatility, with respect to being able to flip them, which positions spotters at a slightly higher or lower position (when secured in same holes) depending on which way you orientate them. I can use them both inside and outside of my rack and they are longer than most spotter arms, which is useful in my situation for doing OHP and getting me a little further from the front of my rack which has the Prime ROT8 Pullup Station mounted to it on a projecting lower rear stabilizer crossmember from REP.
I did get them customized with color so mine were over $500 like Brandon’s, but I love mine, where he moved on.

I originally bought these as a low profile spotter arm solution as they attach only via mag pins. While setting up and removing are quick and easy, b/c of the design they have a lot of slop on an upright and there's no real way to tighten it down. In use it's not a huge deal, but for over $500 before shipping you'd expect a lot more. I ended up selling mine for a more traditional set of spotters.
