Cannonball Grips

Cannonball Grips

Great grip strength isn’t something an athlete is born with. It needs to be developed like any other part of strength training. With Rogue Cannonballs, an easy-on/never-off strap system allows for a wide range of functional grip training exercises. You can use them for pull-ups or attach them to a barbell, kettlebell, or dumbbell to enhance grip strength across nearly any part of your regimen.

These things have lasted for years and still perform like new. There is no signs of rust or wear. I mainly use them for pullups but they are a good size and feel nice in the hands. The straps and carabiners are worth the price by themselves!

These are much harder than you would think. I could do pull-ups from them at one time. Now I just do holds for time. Having a basement gym, they are easy to keep out of the way. As far as programming, I usually do them between sets.

These live on my rack and get used regularly when I look up and remember that they’re there. Maybe someday my grip will be strong enough to hold them in a full pinch. Until then I split my fingers on either side of the eyelet, sort of like doing a Vulcan salute. As I get older and more feeble, keeping grip strength and the ability to pull myself up will ensure that I continue to live long and prosper 🖖

Name a better way to strengthen your grip than by hanging onto some smooth black balls. In all seriousness they work great and are a nice cheap pullup variation for additional grip work

These balls feel good in your hands. Everyone that sees my balls comments on how nice they are, and can't seem to resist grabbing them. My wife refuses to play with them...clean regularly. Probably the most used attachment when people come to the gym for the first time, adds a nice challenge to pullups.

Great addition to add variety to your back days while also incorporating grip strength. They loop on quickly and the powder coat finish takes on chalk well. I enjoy cycling them in and am actually used them today coincidentally. They are not expensive at about $80.

This is a fun attachment to include on the rack that you set and forget and play around with from time to time. A bit pricy for that kind of use, but could be a fine gift. The overall feel is good and they are a true challenge.
