Concept2 RowErg Rower - PM5

Just picked up my PM5 Rowerg off facebook for 60 fucking dollars. 96,000 lifetime meters. Perhaps the best deal of all time. Still getting used to the movement, but the machine is incredible. Love the app connectivity and being a big guy, love the sturdiness.

Cant say enough good things about my c2. I picked mine up used about 4 yrs ago for $650 with hardly any use at all. I actually dont use the PM5 much anymore and mostly just keep track of my stats on my phone with my watch tracking everything. I keep it stored upright, so it only takes up a 2x2 space. Great cardio machine and the only rower I'd recommend.

Industry standard and speaks for itself. Bought mine used and it runs like new. smooth as silk.

Although these can be pricey, the C2 Row Erg is a great low impact conditioning tool. The key selling point for me is its high build-quality, low maintenance cost, and C2's industry-leading customer service and support. Moreover, due in no small part to C2's partnership with CrossFit, the Row Erg (and its older sibling, the Model D Rower with the PM-5) are virtually ubiquitous and have been the de facto rower in gyms for over a decade, so peer-to-peer support and spare parts on secondary markets are plentiful. I also found out recently that the PM-5 monitor connects via Bluetooth to C2's Erg Data mobile app, so you can track workouts seamlessly. Unlike competitors who charge a subscription fee to log training metrics, C2 offers this benefit at no addition cost, which is a great value add. As an hidden bonus, the sled component from the rower completely detaches from its base, which not only makes it easy to stow away, but enables you to use it in unconvential ways. For example, if you have a low-row pulley system, a belt-squat belt, and a squat wedge, you can McGyver a surprisingly good (though imperfect) leg-press station.

Purchased the Concept 2 Model D Rower (PM5) in June of 2020. I used this machine regularly when I was doing CrossFit and have logged 598071 lifetime meters. This rower is often compared to the Rogue Echo Rower (both priced similarly at around $900 to $1000) and in my opinion is the gold standard among high end rowing machines currently available. The PM5 monitor is fantastic and simple to navigate and the overall build quality of the machine is exceptional. The Concept 2 Rower was a staple of the CrossFit Games for 18 years with the first iteration being introduced in 1981. It's hard to argue durability and performance with those statistics.

Another Facebook marketplace pick up i ended up selling with plans to get another one later but I have my body solid rower now

I don't think there is anything that hasn't been said about this rower that I could comment on. However, this has everything you would need for low impact cardio as well as a super small storage footprint. I've rowed at least 10 km on it (was going to say 100 miles) and it has showed no signs of breaking. Batteries are the only thing that have died on me at this point with this machine.

Concept2 RowErg Rower - PM5 is an amazing rowing machine that can get give you a great workout.

Not a machine I frequently use but it worked really well when I did use it, and its obviously super popular
