Cross Training Bike Plus

I hate this thing. Unfortunately, it does exactly what it says it does, and it does it extremely well. It’s sturdy, smooth, quiet, well built, the screen is great, and the classes are actually pretty damn good. I have essentially no legitimate complaint about the bike itself. My complaint is that it’s cardio. I sit on it, pedal, become uncomfortable, and eventually arrive at the exact same geographical location I started from. Horrible concept. Also, screw the monthly membership. The standard Peloton All-Access Membership is currently $44/month in the U.S. I already bought the bike. Why am I now paying rent to the bike? It would probably be 5 stars if the membership wasn't $44/month. It would probably be 6 stars if I wasn't allergic to cardio. Unfortunately, neither of those problems appear to be covered under warranty.

The Peloton Bike+ has been a great fit for my gym, especially because of the automatic resistance adjustment during classes. It keeps me moving with the instructor, and I can still grab the knob and add more when I want to push harder. That feature alone justifies the Bike+ over the standard bike for me. The class quality is strong, and I like being able to pick instructors that match my style. The only downside is the subscription cost, especially since I currently use it for cardio about once a week alongside ice/cardio and strength training.

An extremely well built and versatile cardio bike. This was a lifesaver during the pandemic. I bought a refurbished one that had a crack in the frame. Not a great first impression. However, their customer service was pretty exemplary and got me a replacement within a few days, no issues 4 years and counting. I think the value you can get out of this bike is phenomenal. The ability to flip the screen over allows you to use this to run yoga or other non bike sessions without needing to use a screen in the room. And let’s be honest, if not in the gym, this is very likely to be in the den/office/nook/ extra thick hallway. So there may not be a convenient TV to cast from the app. The variety of programming is why I gave it 5 stars for value. It’s high quality video production with a big music library. So if you like jamming to royalty free music, this is not the bike for you. The build is pretty solid as it has survived several large bodies going through weight loss journeys on it. This bike is also for people that like to add attachments/accessories to things. You can buy so many parts aftermarket, this is the jeep of exercise bikes. I have mini fans, seat sliders, and bunch of other items. The world’s your oyster on this one. Get the plus over the regular. You will also forego having to bend down and adjust that tension knob constantly since the plus is automatic.

Awesome piece of equipment for cardio. The classes are great, and the ability to free ride is also a nice bonus. I highly recommend looking for used options, as brand new ones are really expensive. The monthly subscription fee is also expensive, but both my wife and I use the classes, so it is definitely worth it.

Great piece of cardio equipment, only knocked it down on value as I think the standard version will be enough for most if not everyone's needs. With the Peloton app you could use a phone or tablet and cast to a bigger screen instead of paying for the more expensive bike. With that being said, the "gameify" part of the Peloton is my favorite part, you're basically playing a video game while riding a bike and that to me makes it worth the monthly subscription dues. Without the monthly subscription, it's just a stationary bike and not worth it in my opinion.

This was a “compromise” piece when we started building out our basement gym. My wife said I could order whatever I wanted as long as she could get a Peleton Bike. Of course I agreed and she loves the classes and competition - it keeps her motivated. We have since moved it out of our home gym into another room in the house because I needed the Rogue Echo Bike 😂. I wish there wasn’t an ongoing subscription fee, that’s the only negative for me because besides the fact that the bike is expensive, the monthly fees just extend that expenditure out indefinitely. The content is high quality though, so your subscription gets you worthwhile content at least.

Love this bike. Only thing with Peloton is the ongoing subscription but my wife absolutely loves the classes so it is what it is. Otherwise it’s great and love doing both classes and scenic rides

Best piece of cardio equipment I've ever used. Got me into bike racing, triathlon, and was key in getting to a healthy bodyweight.

I’m a mountain biker so a bike was a must for my gym. I love this thing. It not only is built terrific, the amount of online classes/training, community, and music make it awesome. If you want to ad a bike for cardio find a used Bike + on marketplace for under 500.

I love this bike. When comparing to other offerings you'll prob find it's not the top at any one thing, nor is it the most affordable. However, when you combine the machine with the Peloton app/ecosystem, that's where the value is. We bought our first Peloton back in 2021, mostly b/c it took up less space than the other cardio equipment my wife was interested in. After giving it a try I was hooked. I love the gamification, playlists from the coaches, and just competing in general. It also offers more than just riding, so even though it's subscription based we've gotten our money out of it.
