I picked this up from the Rogue Garage Sale and it instantly replace the Rep curl attachment I loved so much. The angles are just right and it's an extremely solid bar.

Awesome piece! Solid! I like the variations in the curve on this bar compared to similar cable attachment bars.

My local gym has one of these and I always use it when I visit. Definitely on my short list to add to the home gym. Great bends, knurl. And finish. Only issue is that it’s heavy, so you have to sometimes unclip it to adjust the weight on the machine

A quality curl bar attachment that delivers exactly what you want from the movement — but be aware it's substantially heavy, so handle with care when loading and unloading. Worth noting: it doesn't ship with the smoothest action out of the box. Following other reviewers' advice and oiling it when it arrives makes a noticeable difference.

Only thing to add, that others haven't already said is, the knurling on this bar is also perfect. Pure grip and no sharpness. I say this compared to the normal Curl bar, which has a slight sharpness to it. Least on my pieces. It seems like Rogue's knurling differs from product to product and this one is a good 'un. Only con for me, is that it could have a better rotation system. Same with their Lat Bar.

Super heavy duty bar. The knurling is fantastic. I own REP’a version as well, but prefer the ROGUE’s deeper curves. The only drawback is the weight, it’s crazy heavy for a cable attachment. This takes away from the overall value.

This is my first Rogue product and it lives up to the name…mostly. The bends in the bar are the best on the market in my opinion and is ultimately why I decided to buy this attachment. It’s just so comfortable for curls and tricep extensions. I even have used it for skull crushers and lat pull down work (it’s actually wide enough to be useful). The thing is heavy duty! It feels awesome in hand with good knurling. But MAN, it’s so heavy that if I take the weight off the cable system to re-rack the weights, it will come crashing down and hit me right on the head a couple times. You have to remember to take the attachment off before you unload the weight so it doesn’t come crashing down from the weight of the bar. User error for sure, but a slight annoyance. Lastly, as others have mentioned you need to lubricate it, which is crazy for an attachment that’s like $140 from Rogue. But we move on…I think. Honestly if some other company made similar bends and slashed the price I think it would be a home run since the current price point is high.

Pros: Great build quality, awesome angles. Cons: Bearing most likely needs lubricated periodically, unnecessarily heavy.

Bar has tremendous feel in the hand and good angles. Very much like the knurl throughout. Under heavy cable loads the rotation starts vibrating uncomfortably. Like others I had to open up and lube the bushing which shouldn’t be necessary brand new.

Really great curl bar as well as great for tricep pushdowns. It’s a heavy, well made bar. My did come a little squeaky and grindy but after a little silicone lube is smooth now. I don’t think that’s typical. It’s definitely an attachment I use regularly.
