Dumbbell Rack

Solid rack for the price and the finish is really good!

Dumbbell racks can be crazy expensive. This isn't and works great. Was relieved when I found this as an option don't know what else you would need.

I picked up the Rep Fitness dumbbell rack in September 2023 to accommodate my growing collection of dumbbells, and it’s been one of those upgrades that immediately made my home gym feel more put together. Part of the reason I went with Rep again was my experience with the AB-4100 bench. The build quality on that had already impressed me, so I felt pretty confident this would be solid too. As a bonus, the matching color ties everything together nicely, which makes the whole setup look more intentional. Before this, I had dumbbells scattered on the floor. This was a big step up. The first thing I noticed was how solid it is. It doesn’t shift or wobble, even when loading and unloading heavier dumbbells. Everything just feels secure. The tiers give you plenty of space, and grabbing and re-racking dumbbells feels natural instead of awkward. I added door edge guard protectors along the front edges of the rack ($16.99 from Amazon). They fit perfectly and prevent any marks or dings from loading and unloading dumbbells. It’s a cheap, easy add-on that keeps everything looking clean. Build quality is exactly what I expected from Rep. The steel is sturdy, the finish has held up well, and it still looks basically new after regular use. No issues with chipping or anything like that.

Great storage, especially at the price. Well built, and I love that you can flip each shelf around for dumbbells, or to create a trough where a piece of plywood (sprayed black) creates a great kettlebells shelf too. Only knock is that the red color is almost coral - it is t the bright red REP used to offer.

Nice sturdy rack that I got to hold dumbbells above 50s. I can fit 5 DBs on each shelf so I will be able to get 55s - 85s by 5s when I get them. It's well built and easy to put together and has some color options. You do give up the ability to attach barbell or plate storage, and can't expand- but this costs less than $250 versus many many hundreds of dollars for the various modular storage systems. Depending on your needs, it might make sense to go for one of those, but if you only need dumbbell storage this is an excellent option.

Great dumbbell rack, especially the price point! It fits hex dumbbells and rubber coated hex dumbbells well. It’s pretty sturdy and stable for what it is. It was nicer the expected once I got it in. It’s holding up pretty well. At the time of this review I have 10lb increments with 10-40’s top shelf, 50-70’s middle shelf. I eventually want to get some 80’s, 90’s and 100’s for the bottom shelf. Not sure how tight that will be since the top I can fit 4 pairs, second self I can fit 3 pairs, so I don’t know if Id be able to fit all 3 pairs. That probably won’t be for a while as I have some loadable sleeves that I use for above 75lbs.

At the time, I was just going to get a generic dumbbell rack of reasonable quality from the more budget companies or Amazon but when I realized this one is competitively priced with Rep quality and color choices, I pulled the trigger. It’s heavy in a good way and just works with no quirks.

It's a dumbbell rack It holds dumbbells and does a fine job doing so. What else do you want from it?

Really like REP equipment and would like to store my future dumbells here one day.
