I truly donโt know how accurate this thing is in real life because Iโve never used another dynamometer. Since grip training is either a fad for me or the beginning of a new hobby, I didnโt want to drop $150 to get one thatโs supposed to be uber accurate. This is well priced and seems consistent.

No idea how accurate this is but it says Iโm strong for my age so I like. Iโll see what happens with this as I progress through my grip training journey. Regardless this is a pretty cool toy.

Great product. Very inexpensive. It is relatively easy to use. the only issue I had was changing from kg to lbs.

A great inexpensive rechargeable dynamometer you can get relatively quickly if you want one. Is it accurate? We may never know. But is it fun to have laying around? Absolutely.

How accurate is it? Itโs a mystery. Kind of like your band tension in AR reps even though you used a crane scale. Does anyone REALLY trust it? I put way more faith in my Captains of Crush grippers and what I can close - but this is fun and a great way to get people throwing down challenges and competing across different disciplines.

I have relatively low confidence in the absolute accuracy of this inexpensive tool, but that is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. It is close enough to give a good idea of where someone's grip strength is at. I keep it in my clinic exam room, along with a chart of expected value ranges by age, and use it to spark conversations about exercise and longevity with my patients. Sometimes they surprise me and crush the thing impressively; more often than not, it highlights their evolving weakness and risk for frailty, which helps undermine my exercise recommendations and hopefully motivates them to get more active.
