Hip Thrust Pad
These innovative pads are designed for durability, longevity, and maximum comfort and are constructed with unique multi-layer well technology. The harder top bears and evenly distributes the weight of the load while taking pressure off your pelvis, and the ultra-soft bottom layer offers extreme comfort enabling maximum hip thrust performance. Additionally, Hip Thrust Pads won’t hinder your hinge like some other products might that simply wrap around the bar.

This is a really useful piece of gear! Hard to go wrong. I use it for standing pushdownsnunsung the Andreoni bar on my cable machine, hip thrusts, it’s good for smith machine rows using it on the top of a bench. Recommend it like all the AbMat gear

I kind of think this thing checks all the boxes for performance, value, and quality. I really have almost no notes. As close to a 5-star product as it comes. You'd just have to decide if it's a need for you - if you do the barbell loaded hip thrust movement. Larry Legend from Massenomics Gym really likes this piece, so that kind of says something too.

This is the slimmest and most comfortable way that I've found to perform hip thrusts. It is fairly flexible while being firm. It is definitely worth having/trying since it is small and not too expensive. Give it a shot!

Made by Abmat, this pad has 2 sides, a soft (absorbent side) and a hard side. My wife got this to replace the barbell foam wrap. She definitely feels is was an upgrade and she has no fears of the barbell rolling off.

It feels quite durable and is comfortable for my purposes. Surprisingly handy for a number of exercises -- it makes hypers on my bench more comfortable, and I also use it on my spotter arm as a DIY leg holder / preacher curl attachment. The small size also makes it easy to stow away while not in use.

AbMat Hip Thrust Pad is great and helps take some of the load off your hips when doing hip thrusts.

I had tried the Rep Fitness Barbell pad and various other solutions to make hip thrusters less painful. But they all sucked!
This is an AbMat product, but got it via Rogue to hit my 3 items ship free. The hip thrust pad is pretty darn near perfect. The material feels heavy duty on the exterior and distributes the weight well with what feels like a curved hard plastic.
It’s $50 which seems high initially but it honestly just makes hip thrusters so much more bearable. My wife loves it and I’m sure we will get more AbMat products, like the rotater hip thrust pad.

Works great. So much nicer and more comfortable with the traditional round pads. Pairs well with the pivot pad too.

Having this is definitely better than not having this but it does move around a bit on me which is very annoying. Would be nice if you could attach it to the barbell in some way with maybe a Velcro loop or two.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Thick padding, durable feeling fabric. On the pricier end for its function, but it does work well. I feel like it provides more surface area than using the squat bar cylindrical style pad. Plus I don’t like that cylindrical squat bar pad, I associate it with weakness. I don’t wanna touch it. This can also maybe function as a cushion in a few applications
