I bought this as a do all machine with a compact footprint, I got the solo stand with it to keep it off my rack, it works ok but the leg roller has an extreme amount of flex, changing the elevation of the carriage is tedious, at this point I use it only for leg extensions and some uncomfortable lying leg curls, I ordered some other attachments and cams for it to see if Voltra loading it will make it better but it’s been months now waiting. Cool concept, not the best execution to be honest. It also walks across the floor under use and the feet for it are cheap and rotate around the 3x3 base, I would avoid the solo stand.

I’m not a fan of this. It’s gimmicky, unstable, and is mid at best for every movement it does. Setup time is going to be significant and likely hard for kids or women to use.

I love this. I would recommend having a dedicated upright and have it in a position where you don't need to move it up and down. I have mine in a position that allows me to do everything I do with it, pullovers, preacher curls, leg extensions, lying hamstring curls, etc and don't ever have to move it. There is a little bit of flex that comes from rack movement, which I've mitigated with the stand attachment that bullet proof offers. I don't have the space or budget for a lot of machines, this gives me the flexibility to replace a lot of machines with one rack mounted attachment. The pads and attachments are overbuilt and therefore heavy, but there is no doubt on quality for me. People who don't like to fiddle with settings will not like this, however. I've used my whiteboard to note best positions for my lifts so that I can easily get to where I need to. The main thing is to ensure the joint you are moving is in line with the pivot point of the isolator and then it'll feel very natural.

It seemed like a good idea but in the end it has been the worst gym purchase I have ever made. All the movements are b tier at best or way worst. Set up is a pain. Taking things on and off is also a pain because nothing is smooth. I'm fighting to get stuff on and off as needed. I upgraded to the adjustable multi horn and that made it even worst. You can no longer move the isolator up and down. That was not mentioned before I got it. It's also unnecessarily massive and heavy but also finicky and unstable. 1 of my weight posts isn't straight so weights like to slide like crazy. At first it seems all nice then the shortcomings really started to shine through. The seat is very small and doesn't support my weight so I needed a bench to prop the seat up. Theres no backrest or even handles to hold on to. The core movements like extensions or lying leg curls themselves don't even feel that good because of the pad but also because of the pad location as it relates to the pivot point. I can not do preacher curls at all no matter the set up. It feels terrible and I'm fighting against steel as the arc just doesn't work. I bought so many attachments (long arm, hex port, rotating pad, lock and float, multi horn, kickstand and I may be forgetting something) and the resounding theme is unpolished, finicky, not a joy to use with many unnecessary tinkering options that actually make things worst. I also warped it very early on somehow so the leg pad isn't straight anymore. I can't wait to get rid of it. There is zero resell market as well so I'm basically going to throw it in a shed for all of eternity. I'm probably easily over 3k with all the accessories and all I use it for is bad leg extensions and leg curls now. I set it up on a spare bench rack as the sole stand was annoying and unstable and taking it on and off a rack got old very fast.

Once you start adding upgrades this is one of the best choices for leg curl and extension but does get pricey and will do a lot more, still decent without upgrades.

This unit is an absolute tank. The quality is top-notch, and you can perform a wide range of exercises with it. That said, it requires a dedicated section of your rack, as most people won’t have the time or patience to remove and reattach it each time they want to use it. Additionally, some setup modifications are needed depending on the exercise. From a space-saving standpoint, there’s really nothing comparable on the market aside from the Prime unit. Overall, it’s a great piece of equipment, but to get real value out of it, you need to consistently incorporate it into your training. In my opinion, having a dedicated station for it is essential to make the most of it.

A very versatile piece of equipment, and I'm glad I got it since it saves a ton of space. I got it pretty early and it was a chore to ship it to Europa at the time, since they hadn't set up international shipping yet. I use it weekly for leg extensions or lying leg curls. I wish seated leg curls would work easier, but you need to flip like the whole attachment, and I got no time for that. Biceps and triceps work also work great tho you really need to find your ideal lever position for it to feel good there I find. My real gripe comes with the build quality and some design choices. For one I do not trust the seat to hold a 200lb lifter you does some heavy leg extensions. I prop it up with an incline bench to be sure (that also allows me to get some extra stretch in my quads by doing lying leg extension). It flexes quite a lot if you have at least like 80lb of weight on the arm. The leg pad is also slightly askew no matter how you tighten the screws. My biggest issue is with all the pop pins for fixating the attachments and that they hold those right on the corner of the hexagonal piece. That really eats into the pop pins and just makes handling a drag over time, since it gets hung up on the thread and you really need strength on to tighten or loosen them. we also have the issue that one of the screws for tightening the attachment on the 3x3 post broke it's thread and now we can only fixate it on 3 without being able to fix it. The only reason I don't give it a 2 Star on build quality is that it was from a price point quite good I think. It sounds rude maybe but with a lot of stuff from Bullet Proof, I wish there was like a Rogue design team there to steer it more towards bomb proofness instead of it being almost a bit flimsy feeling for just being a miniscule bit more versatile.

I wanted to like this and purchased mainly to have as leg curl and extension piece with added benefit of preacher curl. I managed to at least keep the carriage permanently attached to my rack but setup still takes time and storage of the pieces can be challenging. I mounted wall control inside my one closet to keep the pieces out of the way, but still pretty accessible. The unit had a bit of a tilt to it under heavy load. At the time Larry insisted it wasn’t a big deal, but now I see he has two pieces that he released that are “fixes” for this very issue. If I had a dedicated upright mounted elsewhere that would have this setup at all times, then maybe I would have kept it, but I want to keep my workouts efficient and with the least “resistance” as possible.

Great Investment with a learning curve. The bulletproof Isolator has been a staple in my training since I bought it a year ago. It excels at Tricep extensions, back extensions, leg curl, preacher curl, standing hamstring curl and lying hamstrings curl (with an adjustable bench). The price point providing all the above machines leaves me with zero regrets. The key to getting the most out of the attachment is to ensure that the joint that you are rotating about is aligned with the pivot point of the lever arm, (ie. Your knee being aligned with the pivot point for a leg extension). I also highly recommend setting this up and aligning the pivot point to your hip. This will maximize the amount of movements you can do without changing it's height. If you plan on removing this from the rack every workout it may not be the best fit. The isolator can be a hassle to move and align due to its awkward shape. Personally, I set this up on its own upright and do not move it. If I had to move it I probably would not use it.
