My review on these Is slightly biased as I’m using these with repins, but I think the idea is slightly flawed, if you hang these off a barbell to start then you need to either roll your wrist forward or backward to unrack and clear the bar on every rep, if you’re going heavy enough to need these in the first place, rolling forward is a recipe for pancake face and if they are the other way rolling back means you need to be deep in the rack to be behind the bar and your elbow will tag the upright. So the only way I’ve found is to position myself backwards under the bar in relation to the j hooks and unrack off the back side. Maybe I’m just struggling due to being over 6’ tall with a positive Ape index and a narrow REP rack. Combining these things with rolling repins to threads these through the cage and they just don’t get used much.

These are some of the most useful things in my gym. I never used to do much dumbbell pressing because the process of getting them into position always felt very dicey and unsafe, especially when going heavy (or as heavy as I could go, anyway.)
Now, there's definitely a learning process to using the dumbbell hooks and you need to dial in the right height well, but once I got the hang of them, I really started appreciating them. Build quality could be better though, the paint chips off pretty fast.

While this product is innovative and I respect the creativity that went into making it, for me, it created more problems than it solved.
What I found through real-world use is that the convenience of unracking dumbbells from the top of the ROM was outweighed by the complexity and precision required to re-rack weights under significant fatigue. Further to that, set-up time was an issue for me-- the process of positioning my barbell and bench in a way that would allow me to comfortably unrack my dumbbells was time consuming and cumbersome. Finally, as others have stated, the feeling of the handles is very offputting when working up to heavier loads, which I feel compromises my grip and limits my ability to focus on moving the weight efficiently.
That said the product itself is well-built and I had no concerns that it would fail when used as prescribed.

These are fine. I honestly never use them. I can see the value here. I just personally don't use mine very often.

This is a product that would be extremely useful for some people but might end up being totally useless for others. They work well for what they do, so if you do a lot of heavy dumbbell presses and get the hang of the setup you will probably like the functionality. For my current situation, I use loadable dumbbells above 50 pounds, so it's nice not to have to jam the ends into my knees and kick them up. But in the future when i complete my set up to 100 i will probably never use these. Not too expensive though to have on hand even if they are only rarely used.

Worked well and found them to be helpful. However, I just did not like the feel in my hands and ended up returning.

***Do not buy if you don't already do a lot of dumbbell presses.*** When it comes to use, these are about as useful as a deadlift jack in that they solve a minor but very annoying problem. The hard part of a dumbbell press shouldn't be setting up, so these offer an alternative set up where you can start right at the top. It takes some getting used to and the awkward part is lining them up perfectly so that you can lift them off the rack while still pressing directly overhead and not hitting the hooks on your bar... but overall if you dumbbell press a lot, I'd say it's worth it.

These pretty much stay up here. If you can’t get the weight up go lighter. These are a bit of a gimmick in my incorrect opinion.

These are good when pressing heavy dumbells. Only downside is i find the strap digs in my hand sometimes and can be slightly u comfortable when going real heavy.
