Monster Utility Bench 2.0

Monster Utility Bench 2.0

Manufactured in the USA using 3x3” 11-gauge steel, the newly redesigned Rogue Monster Utility Bench combines the stability of an extra wide 26.5” rear base with a new single-column front foot, giving athletes more room for setting their feet during a bench press. Each unit ships disassembled from our warehouse to reduce shipping costs, and comes with all necessary hardware for a quick set-up, as well as rubber feet to protect your flooring. Version 2.0 also rolls out new improvements in portability and storage, as a set of rear wheels and a built-in handle in the front foot enable athletes to quickly and easily pick up the bench and roll it in/out of a rack or out of the way entirely. When not in use, the Monster Utility Bench 2.0 can also now be stored upright for better space efficiency, with a UHMW cap at the end of the bench spine ensuring no damage to the bench pad—no matter which type of pad you’re using.

I bought this 5 years ago and have since upgraded the old vinyl pad with the newer foam style from Rogue. The newer pad style has been a huge upgrade from the slick vinyl but I wouldn't call it "grippy", probably somewhere in the middle with light texture. I've got no complaints about this bench (light, stable, and easy to roll around in tight spaces) other than the fact that when it came the quality control from Rogue was a complete joke requiring them to send me 2 different handles. By now I'm sure they have that sorted out, and if you want a bombproof flat bench made in the USA, this is a great option.

I bought this used with the Thompson Fat Pad. The pad is incredible. I dont love the tripod design, I have done some movements getting off the bench that has made it wobble.

My favorite bench to use to bench press out of a squat rack, feel the most like a combo rack and you can get it within IPF specs

Very nice bench with a tripod design. I love it paired with the Thompson Fat Pad, the OG fat pad. Very comfy when benching.

I have the first model of this bench. If mine ever wears out I'll be switching to the newest model without the front feet.

Used one of these with a fat pad on it at a gym. Because the front is one smaller post vs one longer one, it makes the bench want to tilt side to side if you're leaning one direction or the other while sitting on the edge of it

I have the Standard version with standard pad. This was an add along side my adjustable bench and I’m glad I made the purchase. It’s a Rogue so the build quality is terrific. It does get a little side to side tippy if you lean to much but isn’t felt during benches. Handle placement for rolling around is a bit weird but works. I find the standard pad very comfortable

I have the short version of this bench with the fat pad and absolutely love it. The pad feels great- a little bit soft but firm enough that you feel well supported. And although other benches are heavier none of them could possibly feel any more stable than this. I upgraded my adjustable bench recently and thought about selling this one to save space- but I like benching on it too much to ever get rid of it.

Great bench. The knurled handle is a nice cosmetic add on. Has a bit of wobble if you lean side to side but so does any tripod bench

The best flat bench you can buy. I'd recommend the competition pad with the shorty frame for the best pad while still matching competition specs.
