The knurling hurts, the plates don't really like to slide on to the bar, and it feels a bit narrow at times. However, if you can get this at a "how is anyone making a profit off of this?" price on Amazon, shipped and delivered, then it works fine. I bought it while rehabbing a lower back injury and it worked fine for a few weeks, but if you were doing trap bar DLs as a primary movement then it is worth spending the money on a proper bar.

Bargain price basic trap bar, great value beginner item. I honestly got it for my kids to learn on. Is not something you could load very heavy due to the weight capacity and just physical space on the sleeves

Low quality trap bar with a low weight rating, I wouldn't be able to put this in our gym without liability risk

CAP Barbell Olympic Trap Bar is just okay because it is difficult to load weights.

It’s a trap bar. Nothing special about it. Knurling sucks, but not surprising for the cost.

If you're looking for something like this for your gym, invest a little more and get something you'll be happy with for a long time. There are multiple budget options that perform MUCH better.

This was my first trap bar, but it has actually spent more time at my friend's home gym since I upgraded to an open Kabuki version.

It’ll lift weight but you won’t be comfortable doing it. Poor manufacturing quality with ugly welds and next to nonexistent knurling. Sleeves do not spin.

The bar that got away. I was silly and replaced mine with a POS open trap bar.
Knurling is sharp, which I like. Bar is solid and doesn’t flex. Sleeves don’t rotate, which I don’t care about. All the trap bar I’d ever need.

Basic trap bar with high and low handles. A gold value buy. Don’t buy into ye hype of needing an open trap bar. This will get the job done. I prefer the mega cap one that 75 lbs and longer sleeves or stepping up to the one from rogue but this is a good budget trap bar
