Pegasus™ Seat

Pegasus™ Seat

Bring versatility to your home gym with the Pegasus™ attachment. Attach it to your 4000 or 5000 Series cable system ( Ares™, Athena™, Adonis™, Athena™- Wall-mounted, PR-5000, PR-4000 , or rig). Utilize different exercises, such as chest-supported rows, flies, chest-supported curls, lat pulldowns, and more. You can also remove the leg roller pads from the seat and upright attachment and attach them directly to the rack upright for sit-ups, and Nordics. It has a capacity of 300lbs. The Pegasus™ attachment is heavy-duty, weighing around 47lbs, but is easy to maneuver. A knurled handle and added grip underneath the seat makes it easy to slide the seat directly onto the upright.

I use this for tons of things, it’s a great lat pull down seat , I also use it upside down and tilted towards the ground as a back support for river work, really excellent quality and design

If you have the rep tower definitely a good pick up but weight limit is an issue. It didn't fit into my new set up traded it for Bulletproof fitness 3d handles

Built so well - used primarily for lat pulldowns off the rack and occasionally for chest supported rows. It’s the build quality you’d expect from REP & I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking to upgrade from just using a bench next to the rack. You can detach the leg rollers and has plenty of adjustability with the pop pins.

Despite almost breaking my face on chest supported rows when I forgot to put the side pin in, this has been a great attachment for me. Crazy enough, it held my weight plus 180 pounds total of dumbbell for a full set, plus for reps of set 2 before I landed on my orbital bone (not too bad, nothing a little surgical glue couldn't fix), and all that without the side pin in. So it's definitely very sturdy, just don't be an absent-minded idiot like me. This thing is built like a tank too. Great finishes, good knurling for its purpose, etc. Functionally, I have no issues either. It supports a lot of different exercises, and other than not allowing a center mounted cable to pass through the middle, it has pretty much everything I could have asked for. That said, I still think this attachment is $100 or so overpriced. Maybe not so much now that tariffs have had such a big impact on overseas manufacturing, but it was this price before all the tariff madness. You have the post-Covid excuse too perhaps, but still seems like this one missed the mark on the price-point.

REP Fitness Pegasus™ Seat us a great rack attachment to allow for many different movements. The only thing that I wish they would have added is a metal plate to use as foot plate for rows.

I love this thing. I probably don't take advantage of the versatility like I should. I primarily use it for lat pulldowns, chest supported rows, and single arm preacher curls. It's pricey. $400 for a seat is a lot, but I've used other seat attachments from similarly priced competitors and would hands down recommend the Pegasus over those. It's not heavy, but it's a little unwieldy and could be heavy for some I suppose. I've not found a great way to store it either.

I think the leg lock in can be better I use the spud rachet belt to keep me locked on during heavy pulldowns

I had this seat for quite a while with my Rep PR-4000 and Ares rack. The adjustability is great, built quality is awesome. Cons: Very heavy. Not fun to reposition on rack or store. My wife had a lot of difficulty with the weight. Also I found the seating position to not be as comfortable as other seats and getting it adjusted comfortably was a bit of a pain. I also think it’s very expensive. And the removable rollers are cool but I barely ever used that feature and would just use other machines that had rollers for doing split squats and things like that. I also think it would have been better if the seat extended out farther from the rack for doing a lot of movements such as pullovers, chest supported rows, rear Delt raises, etc. I sold it with my rack and will be replacing it with a Rogue CTM-1 and the Rogue seat that goes with that. Will review and compare when it gets here.
