The Bella Bar 2.0

The Bella Bar 2.0

The Bella Bar is Rogue's go-to multipurpose 15KG barbell for female athletes. Fully machined and assembled in the USA, this versatile ladies bar is uniquely optimized for Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and/or a CrossFit WOD. Built with as much attention to detail as any bar in the Rogue family, the Bella Bar is a women’s weightlifting bar forged on equal ground. A staple of women’s CrossFit competitions-- including events at the CrossFit Games-- the 25MM Bella Bar has no center knurl and features the same Rogue signature dual knurl marks and 190,000 PSI tensile strength as our flagship 20KG Ohio Bar. The hybrid knurling pattern itself offers a firm but comfortable grip on both power lifts and Olympic lifts, while quality U.S. steel and snap-ring bronze bushings produce the perfect balance of spin and stability.

Got this as a BOGO during Black Friday for my wife, but I find myself using it constantly pressing, rowing, and front squats since it's our only bar without center knurl. Tight build and more grippy knurl than the ohio bar in my experience (not power bar), and less expensive than Rogue's "men's" bars. No complaints, highly recommend.

My wife loves this barbell, she does squats, benching and Olympic weightlifting and this bar meets all her needs. She's had this bar for a while and the sleeves spin consistently even with minimal maintenance.

I like Rogue Barbells. I wanted a 15kg barbell as my daughters were getting older and could benefit from a 25 millimeter diameter bar. I use it more often that I expected, especially when working on technique for Olympic lifting.

This is the Go-To Women's Crossfit bar. When my wife and I started our home gym I couldn't justify buying 2 barbells, So I got this to accommodate us both. I trained with it about a year before getting a Colorado bar. Big takeaways: It has a shorter sleeve length than a full-size barbell so it fits tight spaces better. It is also lighter at 33lbs rather than the traditional 45lbs. I personally love the knurling, feels like sandpaper or grip tape. The biggest downside is the shaft diameter at 25mm, is very thin. On heavier lifts you will feel more pressure in your hands because of it. Deadlifting is okay, benching heavy I found to be uncomfortable. Other than that great bar. We will never get rid of it.

Take advantage of boneyard sales if you can. I have never heard of someone being disappointed with what they got. I feel like the type of people who utilize them are perfectly fine with the minor defects. You can get lucky and get a cerakote bar for a non-cerakote price. My wife got a sweet blue cerakote one as a gift to convince her to start lifting with me. The low start weight provides a good jumping off point for her or anyone that is detrained and looking to get started. A passive beater bar probably would do just as good. Getting this one could allow you to make the gym more approachable and accommodating without telling someone that they aren’t strong enough to use your good stuff yet, so they have to deal with crap. Get your wife, friends, or family that is interested a decent bar they will want to use.

Bought this out of the boneyard for my girls to learn weightlifting. Spins ok, knurling is too passive. Boneyard value is great however. Good bar to learn with and not spend a ton on a proper weightlifting bar.

Got this bar BOGO several years ago for my wife’s birthday. It was at the time the most money I had spent on a bar and my first experience of a ‘good’ bar. Fast forward to now, the stainless finish is still looking great. The black sleeves are showing small rust spots and wear but it’s used by both of us for deadlifts and the smaller diameter and knurl feels great.

No complaints. I got this bar with the stainless steel shaft w/ black powder coat sleeves for my fiance who does olympic weightlifting and crossfit. She loves the bar and after a couple of years shows minor wear on it.
